Troy took a bus back to town. the bus drove all night. he didnt remember the ride being this long when he first drove out there with Hwayoung. He had plenty of time to think about everything going on. When the bus finally stopped at a familiar place, Troy got off. He felt relieved to be back, and thankful. The grim thought that he would never see this place again was always in the back of his mind the entire time he went off to look for hyomin. IN fact, he sort of expected that to happen. was that what Troy wanted? if it was, then why was he so happy to be back. As troy walked to his apartment he noticed the weather was the warmest it had been in awhile. the sky even looked alot clearer. the greyness that had been lingering all winter, seemed to lift and make way for a bluer sky.

Troy continued to walk and to think, was Mou really dead? was he caught in the explosion? and what even set it off to begin with? was it fate? a well timed miracle malfunction in the system? were Troy, hwayoung and hyomin the only ones to get away? despite his good fortune, troy truly felt sorry for Mou and the other people who werent as fortunate. Whatever happened troy knew the backlash it could have on him and the operation hes involved in could be bad. but he knew procedure dictated he continue until contacted.

When Troy walked down the road to his apartment, he noticed a news van parked on the side of the street. he immediately sighed and thought about going somewhere else... but he had no where to go and he really just wanted to sit down and be alone. he decided to get a closer look. maybe he could sneak by without being seen. As he got closer he heard voices from his apartment entrance. Troy poked his head out from behind some bushes. He saw the news crew already at his door talking to someone. A cameraman holding a large camera and a female reporter pestering someone with questions. Who was in troys apartment?

"please, if we could just get a word from Troy, we know he is here. he was released from the hospital yesterday on his own request" The reporter beckoned.

"youre wrong, Troy isnt here, please leave." Troy recognized the familiar and unexpected voice. "im just looking after his apartment while hes gone."

"are you his girlfriend? can you tell us anything about Troy and the incident he was involved in?" the reported continued to ask questions not backing down.

"no! im just an acquaintance i really dont know anything, please just leave me alone." the voice answered.

"JIyeon?" Troy said finally stepping out from the bushes.

"Troy!" Jiyeon exclaimed as he walked up the small path to his door. the reported immediately scurried over to him.

"Troy, im with channel 4 local news please a moment of your time." the reporter stuck her microphone so close to troys face it almost went in his mouth. "was it true you were kidnapped by a psychotic cult?"

Troy didnt stop walking and didnt dignify the reporter with a response.

"was it true you were involved?" the reporter barked.

her words made Troy stop in his tracks.

"i know you got a job to do but dont you people out here have any morals or respect?" Troy glared at her, the cameraman positioned himself in front of troy for dramatic effect. "i just went through a seriously traumatizing event and here you are pestering me and asking me rude questions. get out of my face and away from my apartment or ill cram that mic and camera in places you didnt know those things could fit!" Troy swatted at the camera, but the camera man was quicker than he looked and dodged troys hand. perhaps he was used to dodging things be swung at him due to the nature of his job.

"come on jiyeon lets go inside." Troy said corralling jiyeon through his door by the arm.

after bringer inside Troy lumbered over to his couch and toppled over onto it face first, exhausted from everything that happened.
