Troy walked down his empty street. he had been walking awhile, aimlessly but he wasnt sure how long exactly. it felt like hours as his legs and feet were starting to get tired. He wanted to return home, but he wasnt sure if everyone was still there. he would rather wait, than have to go and ask everyone to leave.before he could do all that, he stopped walking and turned around. he looked back to see a black sedan with tinted windows parked on the other side of the street a few meters away. Troy sighed and waved at the car to come over to him. - the car didnt move. Troy again waved it over, more aggressive this time. this time, the car started and it drove slowly over to troy.

the car pulled up alongside troy and the window rolled down. a man in dark sunglasses sat behind the window. he rolled it down enough to where troy could only see the top of his head.

"you could raise suspicion drawing attention to us like this." the man inside the car told troy.

"oh please. the obvious way you guys tail me is more of a concern. i noticed you when i first left my apartment. i've got media and the police interested in me. i think it would be better for us all if you guys backed off for awhile. i mean it was never a good idea to babysit me to begin with but now its even worse." Troy said leaning close to the window.

"well. im supposed to watch you and wait for a good time to bring you in. we have some questions back at HQ for you. we need to debrief you on what happened with that lab incident. ill ask you to come in quietly i dont want to have to come back here later and do it the ugly way. the man in the car warned him.

"tell them i really dont have any answers about what happened. but as far as the mission, its still on-going. im investigating my leads and im pretty close to something. i know it. are you going to be my new contact?" troy explained.

"well about that. you're being taken off the assignment list until we debrief you." the man said.

"what, no! why now? just tell them.." troy tried to argue his point but the man in the car did not want to hear it.

"it's not up to me and it's already been decided. Now get in the car. remember what i said about things getting ugly." the man warned him again.

"no you remember, did you not hear you when i said i got news outlets and police all over me. you want to make things ugly? you want to just drag me off against my will? draw more attention to us? i can see the headlines now, high-schooler who escaped kidnappers, kidnapped again! police vow to find culprits!" troy said dramatically. "but there are also the ones who think i was involved and once i disappear they will likely pursue me as a suspect again."

"they can try to find you, but maybe they wont." the man said threatening Troy coldly.

"then do it. COME AND GET ME THEN!" troy shouted. his voice echoed down the street hoping to draw attention. "I AM RIGHT HERE JUST TAKE ME!! SHOVE ME IN YOUR TRUNK!!"

then man suddenly took off in the car leaving Troy in his exhaust plume.

"thats right, all bark and no bite!!" troy shouted at him as he drove away. he knew his victory would be short lived though. it was only a matter of time before he returned for troy.

Troy would return home later, after the party had pretty much ended. only a few people remained. Troy honestly didnt care enough to take notice of who. he didnt even care enough to send them home. he walked through his apartment right to his hallway and toward his room.

"hold it right there!" Boram shouted grabbing his arm. "where do you think you are going?"

"to my room. go hang out with your friends." Troy said refusing to face her.
