Link placed Neji's limp body against the tree bark, away from the battle. Looking back, he saw Sheik buying time for him. He knew that he had to finish the job.

Turning to Neji, Link shut his eyes tightly, standing up where he stood. "Just hang in there." With a heavy heart, Link rushed away towards the battle. He had to get that sword away from Ganondorf to save the people of Hyrule. To save his family.

Ganondorf landed on a punch on Sheik, making them fly across the garden. In the nick of time, Link caught them in his arms, carrying them princess style.

Sheik looked up with wavering eyes. "How is he?"

Putting Sheik down, Link didn't respond right away. Looking at the situation, Neji didn't have much time. But he had to hold onto that small chance of hope. "He'll be fine."

Noticing that Link shaking, Sheik could tell that he was deeply afraid of losing him. Placing a hand on Link's shoulder, they gave him a reassuring look. "You're right. He will be fine. Right now, we have to take that sword from Ganondorf. Once you take it, this battle will be over."

Looking over to Ganondorf, Link saw the Sword of the Six Sages in his hand. The only ticket to defeat Ganondorf was right there. His former master. The former Demon King. Saria's killer.

Link's eyes were cold as ice. The man he wanted to kill was right in front of him. After many years of killing in cold blood, it had come down to this.

Taking out his sword, Link's blade had Ganondorf's reflection on it. His next target will have a taste of his own medicine. "You die tonight, Ganondorf."

Ganondorf smirked in amusement. "Confident, aren't we? You can fight all you like, but in the end, all your efforts will be wasted."

The shadow from Link's hood covered half of his face. His intimidating stare was locked on Ganondorf. "Oh yeah?"

Watching the entire time, Sheik was trying to come up with a plan. "Link. I can try to slow him down. I'll try to give you an opening to attack."

"Ok. I'm counting on you, Zelda- I mean Sheik."

"Call me what you like."

"I rather call you mine- Uh..! Zelda!" He couldn't believe he let that slip out at such a serious moment.

Pretending to not notice Link's blunder, Sheik nodded. "Fine by me."

Trying to find the right time, Sheik rushed towards Ganondorf with a harp in hand. Strumming the strings, many wavelengths headed his way.

Jumping to the side to dodge it, Ganondorf lunged towards Sheik with the blade pointing towards them.

Ducking under the sword, Sheik took out a mini blade from their sleeve. Swinging the blade towards Ganondorf, it managed to slice his cheek.
