Arriving back at Hyrule, Link and Neji were walking along a dirt path towards Ganondorf's hideout. While walking, Link was looking through the Sheikah Slate.
Neji peeked over his shoulder, curious about what Link was holding. "What is that thing?"
"It's called the Sheikah Slate. It helps me identify people I need to take out."
"Identify people? Take out? What do you mean by that?"
Link scratched a finger to his face. "I guess I didn't mention earlier that I'm an assassin."
Neji's eyes started sparkling. "You're an assassin?! That's so cool!"
"It's not as cool as you think. I carry a very heavy burden, blood is always on my hands." Speaking figuratively and literally. "Even so, you still wish to stay with me?"
"Yes! I still need to repay you! I won't leave until I do!"
Link smirked, covering his face with his hood. "You're an interesting kid. I gotta give you credit for that."
Neji started bowing his head over and over. "Thank you! Thank you!" Link kept silent, not wanting to boost his ego even more before it completely gets all in his head. He didn't want to bring a kid into his mess, but he wouldn't leave until he repays him. But the question is, what will be the repayment?

Arriving at the hideout, Link had the Fierce Deity Sword in his hand. Neji was walking right behind him, his heart pounding from moments of meeting Ganondorf.
Link bowed his head. "I have returned, Master Ganondorf."
Ganondorf smirked, walking over towards Link. Stopping right in front of him, he caught sight of Neji behind Link. "What do we have here?"
Neji's face turned entirely white. Seeing that, Link spoke up for him. "His name is Neji. I met him in Termina. He was possessed by the Fierce Deity Mask and had the sword as well. He came along with me, because he wishes to repay me."
"Is that so?" Ganondorf turned to Neji. "Do you have any fighting experience?"
Neji stepped from behind Link's back, slightly trembling in fear. "If wielding a sword to fight off the guards count, then yes."
"Neji is medically experienced. He helped treat my wounds when I got him back to normal."
"I see." Ganondorf said. "Perhaps this boy isn't so helpless after all. He could be your assistant with your missions."
"Assistant, huh?" Link turned towards Neji. "What do you think?"
Neji nodded eagerly. "I will happily lend you my assistance!"
"Then it's settled." Ganondorf took the Fierce Deity Sword from Link in exchange for a satchel of rupees. "I would discuss your next mission, but it feels like I've been working you too hard lately. Why don't you take it easy for a few days?"
