THIS IS GOING TO BE AWFULLY SMUTTY

I sat in the back of David's car and waited for him and Eddie to come back. They got out to grab some snacks around 30 minutes ago and still weren't back, so I decided to put the radio on.

"Broken. Of course, it's broken." I sighed, and grabbed my phone, plugging in headphones and pressing shuffle. I lay back on the seats and crossed my legs.

"I want to break free" started playing and I smiled to myself as I remembered the boys dressing up in drag to mimic our friends, and how David found it hilarious when we all said it suited him.
I began singing to the words and was interrupted when somebody yanked one of my earphones out.

"The car's open. You can break free now." Eddie said, and we both laughed.

"Are you coming back with me or Dave? Sammy and Alex are at mine, Dave's just being dull."
"I'll head back with you, David." I smiled, and sat up, putting my seatbelt back on.
"No surprise there." Eddie raised an eyebrow and David and I blushed.
"What do you mean?" I demanded in a very embarrassed, shaky voice.
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing, y/n." Eddie smiled, almost knowingly, and David started up the car.

"See you tomorrow, Eddie." I stood on my tiptoes to hug him, and he patted the top of my head.
"Bye, short stuff." he smiled, and I stood next to David, waving Eddie off as he left the street.
"What do you wanna do?" I asked, and David smiled.
"Do you wanna go and choose a movie? I didn't buy snacks for nothing."
"You a snack."
"No, you a snack."
I smiled and went inside, although David didn't follow.
"You coming?"
"Yeah, in a second. Go get ready, I'll be two minutes."
I turned around and went inside, instantly sitting down in front of the dvd rack. The amount of dvd's David bought but never watched was unreal. So I pulled out one of my favourite movies: Sweeney Todd.

Presuming that he wouldn't be in for a while, and since he had told me to get ready, I stripped off my hoodie and leggings, and kicked off my shoes, turning around to reach for my bag, and instead seeing a pair of legs.

Oh, fuck.

I scrambled to cover myself with one of the sofa cushions, but David just stared on, eyes wide.
"Uh, could you, uh-"
"Fuck, yeah, sorry." he snapped back to reality and covered his eyes, speedwalking out of the room. I laughed a little to myself and put on a onesie, jumping under the blanket and calling for David to come back in.
"You're not half naked are you?"
"No, not anymore."
"That's a shame." he smiled and winked at me as he sat down beside me, and I punched him playfully.
"Shut up." I laughed, and looked up at David, our eyes meeting in a way they never had before.

"Eddie told me, you know."
"Hm? Told you what?"
"That you're in love with me."
I blinked in disbelief and felt my face go red. I looked down, though David straightaway tilted my chin up with his finger.
"I love you too, y/n. I really do." his voice was soft, and I smiled.
"But wait, I didn't say anything to Eddie about loving you. That's the only thing I ever kept to myself, out of all of the secrets I have."
"That little-"
"Oh my god. He set us up."
David picked up his phone and dialled Eddie's number.
ring
ring
"Hello?"
"Eddie."
"Oh hey, alright? What's going on buddy? You and y/n having a good time?" he laughed, and I heard varied laughter in the background.
"Hey, Eddie? Are the guys still there?" I asked.
"Oh hey, y/n, uh, no, they went."
I looked at David and mouthed the words "let's go over" and he nodded.
"Actually, Eddie, let me call you back." David said, and hung up the phone.

"That little shit." I laughed, as I got up from the sofa.
"Yeah, I'm glad he did it though." David smiled, and I blushed, covering my mouth with my sleeve.
"Me too."
"You're so cute, y/n. It's unreal." he stared at me, which made me feel slightly self-conscious, despite his last comment.
"Come on beautiful, get in the car." we put on our shoes and he held my hand as we walked out to the car.
