"Steven!" I shouted, eyes wide. A duck-egg coloured record player sat in front of me.
"Do you like it?" He asked, a hopeful grin on his face.
"Like it? I love it!" I leaped up and into his open arms, placing quick kisses all over his cheek. He laughed softly and held me close, kissing the top of my head.

"Wait, there's one more!" He said, reaching behind the sofa and handing me a final present. I propped myself up on my knees and kissed his chin, tearing at the wrapping paper. W.A.S.P's debut album sat in my hands in a perfectly packaged vinyl, and I ran my thumb along the sleeve.

"You finished it?"
"And you have the first copy, baby. Go ahead, take a listen."
I nodded as I placed the vinyl on the record player.

I listened intently and smiled as I felt his arms slip around my waist.

"You know, I'm so proud of you." I whispered as he kissed my neck.
"I know."
"And I don't ever wanna lose you. I love you."
"I love you too, baby. I love you so much." He purred against my skin.

"Oh, and I have one more surprise for you," He added, standing up quickly, "I almost forgot!"

"Hey, you said that was the last one! I feel bad that you've bought me so much." I confessed, earning a dismissive laugh from Steven.
"Y/n, I wouldn't do all of this if I didn't want to. Now, wait there and close those eyes." He said, as he slipped back into the conservatory. I sat with my eyes closed and waited for Steven to come back.

After five minutes, I started getting a little suspicious, and walked tentatively into the conservatory.

A small, black puppy sat in a basket and a very confused-looking Steven stood next to a pool of water.

"He knocked his bowl over." He pointed, and I burst into laughter, picking up the small puppy and holding it close.

"Oh, I love him!" I cried, stroking the dog gently and pulling Steven into a hug.
"I love him so much!"

"What do you wanna name him?" Steven asked, stroking the dog as I held it to my chest.

"I'm gonna name him Lawless."
"I can't tell if it's a compliment or not. Naming a dog after me."
"It's a compliment. Honest." I laughed as I kissed Steven's jaw.
"Look at our perfect family." I crooned, as Steven took his Polaroid from the drawers next to me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and said: "smile!"

I placed Lawless into his basket again, watching as Steven scrawled letters on the white frame of the Polaroid. He stepped away and my heart warmed as I read the words "family comes first ♡"

I remember somebody asked for a Blackie Lawless request a while ago, so I hope you enjoy this! ❤️

It's a short one but I didn't want to drag this out too much since I felt it would be better as a shorter chapter 💞

Love and hugs!! Xx
