Coming to Mystic Falls

I laid in bed wondering why I was back home. Stefan woke me up earlier to get ready for school. I wasn't mentally prepared. I have eternity to go to high school but I decided to have a normal teenage life now.

"Lucy get up" Stefan called into my room.

"Ok I'm up!" I yelled back.

"We are going to be late" he said.

I groaned "when did my little brother start telling me what to do?" I asked.

Stefan rolled his eyes "you are only born a minute earlier."

"That makes me a minute older" I said back. He rolled his eyes. "Let me get a shower and I will be done soon." I told Stefan.

Lucy and Stefan walked into school with everyone looking at them. They were the new shiny toys in Mystic Falls although they been here since 1864.

Together they walked into the office to hand the secretary the papers. She looked through them, "your records are incomplete, you are missing immunization records and transcripts." She looked up at Lucy.

"If you look again I'm sure you will find everything you need." Lucy said compelling her.

"Well you're right here are your schedules.

"Thank you" Stefan said.

Lucy and Stefan walked down the hallway before Lucy bumped into someone. Lucy stopped and looked at her.

"Uh excuse me but is this the men's room?" Stefan asked.

'She looks just like the bitch' Lucy thought.

"Yes I um, I was just um. I was just" she mumbled.

"I'll see you later Stefan" Lucy said before walking away.

Lucy POV-

I sat in the back of the classroom not really listening to the teacher talk about history. I lived through most of it. He was talking about the early 1880's my prime time. No matter what he said I could only think of when times were simpler when I was human living with my dad and brothers, engaged to George....friends with Katherine.

I knew Stefan was looking at that girl. There's no denying she's not a dead ringer for Katherine. He wants to get to know her. Hopefully she won't use him as Katherine did to him years ago.

When the bell rang I was stopped by Stefan. "I'm not going home after school" he said to me.

"Okay don't hurt to many bunnies."I teased him. We walked opposite directions seeing we didn't have the same class.

Before I turned the corner I was stopped by a girl with blonde hair. "Hi your Lucy right?" She asked.

I nodded in response. "I'm Caroline.

"Hi" I said and continued on walking.

"So I heard you are new and I was wondering if you wanted to meet me and some friends at the Grill after school?" She asked.

"Uh sure."

"Great" Caroline said, "see you at seven!"

I went to the Grill early seeing no point of running home and messing up my hair. Stefan was going to watch Elena the girl who looks like Katherine to make sure she is okay.

"Hey" I heard Caroline say. "Come over here." She grabbed my hand and drug me over. "Bonnie Lucy, Lucy Bonnie."

I gave Bonnie a smile. "You didn't have to drag her over here Caroline" Bonnie said.
