Halloween

I woke up in the morning to hear my shower running. I figured they brought Vicki back and she was in my shower. My body hurt from last night. I rolled over in my bed. The bathroom door opened. I rolled over to bed expected to see Vicki but it was Damon.

"Why are you using my bathroom?" I asked him.

"Because sis Vicki is using mine." He said. "And you had to wake up sometime."

"Who said I wanted to be woke up with you shirtless and wrapped in a towel?" I asked before throwing a pillow at him.

He caught the pillow. "Nice try." He said. "Stefan and Vicki will be in his room if you want to see them before school." He said walking out.

I got out of my bed. My hair was mess and I was covered in blood still. I quick jumped in my shower. When I was done I pulled out clothing.

I walked into Stefan's room and saw Damon at Stefan's desk. His feet were on top of the desk and he had the newspaper in his hand. Stefan was sitting across from Vicki. She was sitting on a couch and he was sitting on a chair.

"I don't understand why I have to stay cooped up here." Vicki said to Stefan. "Why can't I just go home?"

"Because you'll burn if you take one step in the sunlight." I said as I walked behind Stefan. "And because you're changing. It's not something you want to do alone."

"She's right." Stefan said as he looked at Vicki.

"There's nothin' about that Logan guy that I killed in here." I looked to Damon as he looked at the paper, "Not a word. Someone's covering it up."

"Of course they are. How many more animal attacks is the town going to believe?" I asked Damon before he looked up to me.

"This is Mystic Falls we're talking about." He gave me a small smile before picking up something from the desk, "So what was Logan Fell doing with this?" Damon asked.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It looks like a compass." Damon said.

"I have a few ideas." I muttered.

"He knew about vampires and he is part of the council." Damon said.

"If your worried why don't you leave?" Stefan asked.

"Hey I um I'm hungry."'Vicki said.

"I'll go get you somthing." I told her.

"I have somthing here." Stefan said reaching over to a cup.

"What is it?" Vicki asked.

"Yeah what is it? A skunk? Saint Bernard? Bambi?" Damon said.

I couldn't help but laugh, "Don't be so mean Damon. It could be squirrel or bunny." I said making us both laughed.

Stefan just glared at us. "Give it a try."

"She's new Stefan she need somthing stronger." I said to him.

"Yeah, Why can't I have human blood." Vicki asked.

"Yeah Stefan." Damon said with a smirk.

"Because it wrong to prey on innocent people." Stefan said while looking at me and Damon.

"That's what blood bags are for." I said.

"You don't need to kill to feed just take enough and erase their memory." Damon said.

"No there's no guarentee that you can control yourself." Stefan said to Vicki, "It takes years. You could kill someone easily and have to carry that with you the rest of your life."
