Lucy POV

"Lucy wake up." Rebekah said shaking me.

I moaned and rolled over. "Leave me sleep." I mumbled.

"It's homecoming and Nik is soon coming over." Rebekah said.

"Fine." I said getting up from my bed and going down stairs.

I got a blood bag from the fridge and poured it into a glass. I went outside to sit on the porch and I saw Nik's car pull into the driveway.

"Hello love." Nik said taking a seat beside me.

I smiled. I felt so guilty I was leading him to his death. I pressed my lips on his and pushed his head closer to mine. I pulled away and rested my forehead on his.

"What was that for?" He asked.

"I love you." I told him.

He smiled. "I love you too Lucy."

"What are you doing tonight?" I asked.

"Nothing much I'm taking you with me and we are fleeing." He said.

"Why would we flee?" I asked.

"I heard rumors that my father is back and I don't want him getting to you." Nik said.

"Well thanks but I was going to ask you to homecoming." I said laughing.

"Homecoming? You don't even go to school anymore." Nik said.

"Yeah well your sister and Elena wanted me to go so I compelled my way in." I said.

Nik smiled. "Fine but once the party is over we are leaving and taking my hybrids with." Nik said.

I put my feet up on his lap and Nik started to talk about our future. I knew the reality of our future. He was going to be dead and I was going to be heart broken. I sat on Niks hips and started to kiss him again.

"Klaus I have news for you." Stefan said walking out of the house. I looked at my twin and glared at him getting off of Nik.

"What do you want I'm a bit busy mate." Nik said.

"Mikael is dead we daggered him." Stefan said.

"Dead?" Nik asked looking at me.

"Yes we don't want a vampire serial killer running around Mystic Falls." Stefan said.

Nik nodded. "Show me the body." Nik said standing up.

"We already got rid of the body but I can take you to it." Stefan said.

I stood up and followed him. "Lucy stay here and get ready for homecoming." Stefan said nodding at me.

"Okay I will see you tonight then Nik." I said.

"You got my word love." Nik said before following Stefan.

Elena, Rebekah, and I stood in Stefan's room.

"What's wrong with you?" Bekah asked me.

"Nothing." I mumbled. I was upset about Nik. He was going to die.

"Rebekah I thought you would like this back." Elena said holding up the necklace Stefan gave her.

"Is that my necklace?" Bekah asked.

Elena nodded. "Keep it. It means nothing Stefan and I are over." Elena said.

Rebekah smiled. "Thank you Elena it was my mothers. Can you put it on?" She asked Elena.
