1 year later-

It's been a year since I killed Jeremy and turned off my humanity. I haven't been back to Mystic Falls to face my twin or Elena. For all they knew I was kidnapped and taken off the face of earth and Jeremy was killed in the process. Damon calls me every now and then to keep me updated on what is happening.

After I fled from my actions I went to New York. I went on a killing spree until I found Nik again. He convinced me to go with and do his dirty work for him. After a year with Nik he explained to me explained why he was so interested in Elena. Because she was the doppelgänger she needed to be sacrificed to break an 1,000 year curse so Nik could restore his werewolf side. That meant we had to go back to the place I have been avoiding for a year.

"Why do we have to go back can't we just kidnap her?" I asked.

"No it has to be the place she was born." Nik said annoyed. "And the moonstone I need is here."

"Fine." I mumbled.

"We are not staying in Mystic Falls just outside." Nik said.

"Same location." I mumbled as I turned up the radio.

We pulled into a parking garage and Nik pointed to high class apartment buildings.

"There is where we will be staying." he said.

"Okay, great." I said.

We walked into the penthouse on the top floor. Standing there was a man I recognized. He was in a suit and hair fixed. He looked very professional.

"Eligah, what do I owe the pleasure?" Nik said with a smirk.

"May I asks the same?" He asked.

"Here to break the curse." Nik said with a smirk.

"Yes I am aware and I do not want you to hurt Elena and her friends in any way." Eligah said before turning to me. "Nice to see you agin Lucy." he said with a smile. I nodded to him.

"Perhaps I will see soon brother." Nik said to him.

"Perhaps we will." Eligah said.

"What was that about?" I asked.

"Nothing you need to worry about love." Nik said to me.

"Cool I'm going to get something to eat if you want to join." I said.

"No thanks I have business to deal with." he said.

"See ya later then." I said before turning to to the door.

I was walking down the street it was now night and I could hunt easier. I walked down an alley to see a person sitting on the ground with his knees to his head. I walked up to him and sat beside him.

"Hello." I said.

He looked up and moved back. "What do you want?" He asked.

"Your blood." I said before extending my fangs and draining him off blood. After I was done I stood up and wiped the blood off my mouth with the back of my sleeve.

I continued to walk back to the apartment with Nik until I heard people walking behind me. I turned around only to be faced with Stefan, Elena, and Damon.

"Lucy?" Stefan asked.

I gave him a half smile before speeding off toward the apartment.
