Lucy POV

I woke up remembering about Jeremy. I felt better about that we left on good terms. I'm still not sure how Elena is feeling. I went to my closet and pulled out a tank top and a pair of skinny jeans I threw on my cardigan and vans before going downstairs. I saw Alaric and Damon leaving. "Where are you guys going?" I asked.

"We found some weird symbols last night we are going to check them out again." Damon said.

Alaric rolled his eyes. "They are ancient hieroglyphics. We found them on a cave wall under the old Lockwood house." He said.

"Cool wait for me I want to come." I said.

"By the way Lucy thanks for killing Jeremy. He was just a kid." Alaric said mad.

"We made up. It's cool now." I said.

Alaric was still pissed.

"Enough." Damon said.

"Let's go Alaric mumbled.

I got out of the back of Damon's car and followed them into the basement and threw this tunnel. It lead to an open cave and I could see the ancient script written on the walls.

"Wow Damon they are older than you!" I teased to Damon.

He frowned. "Very funny Lucy." He said.

"I was able to decipher some of these." Alaric said.

"What do they say?" I asked him.

"It says something about werewolves that predate the Lockwoods. And some names." He said.

"What names?" I ask.

"It's in Viking script...Niklaus, Elijah, and Rebekah." Alaric said.

"What?" Damon and I asked at the same time.

"They had to be there long before Mystic Falls was actually founded. Even before Columbus discovered the new world." Alaric said.

"This has to be some Klaus ruse." Damon said.

"I don't think so." Alaric said pointing to another name on the wall.

"What does it say?" I asked.

"Mikael." Alaric said taking pictures of the wall.

"This is must what weapon Mason was talking about." Damon said.

We waited until Alaric was done taking pictures. "Guessing little Gilbert paid you a visit." Damon said.

"Yep. And Elena knows you helped me." I said.

"Thanks for that." He said sarcastically.

"Okay let's talk something else that doesn't evolve Elena's dead brother." Alaric said glaring at me. "Speaking of Elena we should go see her." Alaric said pointing at Damon.

They turned to leave. "I'm sorry Alaric." I yelled.

He just flipped me off.

I studied the wall some more. Could Becka and Nik have been here long before the founders? I didn't know what to think. I didn't know if it was a good thing that Mikael was running around trying to kill Nik. As much as I hated I admit it, I couldn't hide my feelings. I loved that bastard.

I walked out only to see the bastard himself.

"Hello Love." He said. Before I heard a snap.

I woke up in a very familiar place. Nik's place outside of town. It looked like it was being renovated. I sat up and looked right at him.
