"People call me Kraken." It'd say. "You all had a chance to save this ship, but instead of using your time wisely..." It sighed. "You can still save this ship, but it will require lives." It disappeared the same way it appeared, fading. "What is that supposed to mean?" Leon asked. Jeremiah approached the group. "Don't worry, everything will become clear soon!" He smiled. "Where were you?" Rhea yelled. "We almost died!" Jeremiah shushed her. "Please, no more questions, just follow me to the lower deck." He left off and everyone followed him downstairs.
"Kraken didn't lie when it said that it's still possible to save the ship..." He said while approaching a bowl on a table in the corner of the room. "But we'll have to vote!" He took a card out of the bowl, it looked like a playing card, the image on it was Lucas's face and his name on the bottom of the card. "That picture of me sucks." Lucas said. "Vote for what?" Esmay asked. Jeremiah took out a second card, with Esmay's face on it. "Everyone gets to vote one person, and I will collect all votes on one stack, I shuffle the stack and pick the top two cards, the two unlucky ones will present themselves to a challenge, of which only one will return." Jeremiah put the cards back in the bowl and smiled. "Simply," Espen said. "We are killing one of us." He frowned. "Call it what you want," Jeremiah said, and he smirked. "But believe me when I say death will help you proceed further." He put the bowl on the table and took out the cards, there's 5 cards for every person. He sorted them and put them on the table in a row. "You have ten minutes to discuss before the voting ceremony starts."
"What the actual fuck?" Roi asked. "How it go from party invitation to almost drowning to voting someone to die, all in an hour?" He sat down. Rhea sat down next to him. "This game just turned into a death sentence... Voting someone to face a possible death... Who would want us to die?" She asked and leaned on the table. "I'm not so sure about this vote." Roi said. "I mean, what did we do to deserve this?" "I don't know, but if we have no other choice, then we have to do this." Rhea sighed. "Okay, look," she said. "If we're going to vote someone out, we need to pick someone who might hold us back, someone who only thinks for him or herself." She looked at Roi. "True, who did you have in mind?" He asked her. Rhea whispered something back. "I mean," Roi said. "Yes, they did do pretty poorly."
"This isn't fair," Roan said. "It'll be fine." Esmay said, and she hugged him. "Okay, spare me that... Someone is going to die tonight... Imagine saying it'll be okay when it could possibly be me or you?" He asked. "I'm trying to be positive, Roan." She responded. "I want to ask you something." He said. "Do you know anything about this ship?" He looked at her. "No, that's not it." She said. "I act really different when I'm afraid." She responded. "We need to vote soon," Roan said. "So do you wanna talk about it later...?" He asked. "It's voting time!" Jeremiah yelled across the room. Everyone gathered and sat down on the benches. "Everything is pretty straightforward." Jeremiah explained. "Just hand me the card of the person you'll vote..." He starts calling names of the people who have to vote.
"All the votes are in!" Jeremiah said. "Time to reveal." He shuffled the deck of cards and took off the card on top. "The first card," He looked at the image on the card.
