Roi looks into the coffin and sees a woman, actually very pretty. She's resting in the coffin, arm crossed like a mummy. "Is she dead?" Roi asks. "Sure looks like it." Leon says. The others come down the stairs, Meghan, who is holding the second baby, sits next to Espen, who is holding Hope. "Wait look!" Rose says. She reaches her hand in the coffin and takes out a note. "There's a message." She says. "Could you read it?" Jeremiah asks. Rose holds the note in front of her and she starts reading. "To summon the next lieutenant and obtain the figure, you must throw her babies into the water like she once did." Rose stops, her expression went from neutral to sad. "How could we do that?" Rose asks. "Just..." Roan says. "These babies are illusions, think about that." He says. "I won't do that!" Espen yells. He holds the baby tightly. "Espen, this is exactly what they want us to do." Leon says. "Do what?" Espen asks. "Panic." Leon says. "No way, we're not throwing Hope into the ocean!" Espen says. "Do you want to survive?" Leon asks. "We will make it out, I promise!" He says. He kneels and holds his hands in front of him so he can take the baby over. Espen hands Leon the baby. "I promise you, you are getting out." Leon whispers to Espen. "Giving Hope up won't be for nothing." He says. Leon and Meghan walk upstairs to the deck.

"I shouldn't have gotten this attached to the baby..." Espen says. "It's not a baby." Rose says. "It's a zombie." She continues, "You're right." Espen says. He follows Meghan and Leon up the stairs, and so do the others. Once outside. Leon and Meghan get ready to drop the children. They stand on the edge of the boat holding the babies above the water. Leon and Meghan close their eyes so they don't have to see what they're doing. Jeremiah starts counting to 3. "One..." He says. "Two..." The babies start crying. "Three!" Leon and Meghan let go and two splashes are heard. "Oh my god..." Leon says. "Who thought killing a kid could be so hard..." Meghan says. "Let's hope that's a question well never have to ask again." Espen says, and he tears up. Roi hugs him. "We're gonna be fine." Roi says. Then the door to the lower deck opens, and the woman from the coffin comes out. "It's her." Roan says. The woman is wearing long gray cloth and she's pale and has dark brown hair. She comes closer holding a note and hands it to Jeremiah. "Oh..." Jeremiah says. "It's time to vote." He looks at the others, whose faces are filled with disappointment.

Jeremiah puts the bowl on the table. "Sorry." He says. "It's the only way." He points at Espen, indicating that Espen can vote first. Espen stands up and walks towards the bowl. He looks at the mother and writes down Roan's name and puts it in the bowl. Next, he points at Rose. Rose walks to the bowl and writes down Leon's name, putting it in the bowl. Next up is Roi, who also writes down Leon. Then it's Leon's turn, who writes down Rose. So does Roan. Finally, Meghan writes down Roan and finally. Jeremiah looks in the bowl and checks the names. "There are three people which all have two votes..." He says. He looks at Rose and sighs. "Since Rose has been in the past three trials, I'm giving her a break." He says. Rose tears up, from happiness. "Meaning..." Jeremiah continues. "That Roan and Leon will be competing against eachother in the mother's challenge." He says. Roan and Leon look at eachother. "Shit." Leon says. Roan reaches out for a handshake. "May the best win." Roan says. He stands up and walks to the mother. Leon follows Roan's example and goes to the mother too. The mother makes a 'follow me' gesture and walks to the lower deck.
