"Oh, my, God." Rose said, still gagging. "We just killed one of our friends." Roi said. "Lucas did not deserve what happened to him there." He walked away from the edge of the ship. Esmay grabbed Roan's arm and took him somewhere apart from the group, which is chattering with eachother in shock of what just happened. "What happened down there?" Esmay asked. "I-" Roan started. "I really did want to work with him, genuinely, but when he got stuck I realised that only one person could win this..." He tried to say, but his voice kept cracking. "Say no more," Esmay said. "You're clearly just as shocked as all of us..." She tried calming him down.

They approached the group which is now back in the lower deck, looking at the board game, Leon is holding the dice. "Why are we rolling the dice again?" Espen asked. "Doing that last time nearly drowned us and killed Lucas in front of our own eyes!" He stated. "We have no choice." Meg responded. "It's the only way to get off the ship." She gestured at Leon to roll the dice. "At the expense of how many of us?" Espen said, while holding on to Leon's arm to stop him from rolling the dice. "Don't any of you find it suspicious that we needed to vote Lucas and Roan to die?" He let go after realising Leon already put the dice down. "A little." Julia said. "It's clear that captain Jeremiah is up to something, we should stop playing his game and figure out what he's up to!" She finished, and Espen nodded at her in agreement. "That could still get us killed." Rhea said. "I'm uncomfortable with this too..." Meghan said. "But I don't think we have a choice." She gestured at Leon to roll the dice. Espen would sigh. "Fine, we'll play." He said. Leon rolled he dice, and it ended up counting 9.

As he rolled the dice, a loud creaking sound came from the upper deck followed by a loud boom and a crack in the ceiling. "What the hell?!" Esmay screamed. "That made me jump!" Roan said. The entire group ran outside and were greeted by an unpleasant surprise. "What the..." Rhea said. An anchor had anchored itself on the upper deck of their ship. "A flying shipwreck?" Julia asked. "Since when did we sail to bikini bottom?" The look on her face was the most confused a person could get. "Do we think this is the next test?" Espen asked. "I think so." Rhea responded. "Last time when the dice was rolled the ship was attacked so this has to be something." She said. "If yes, then whatever creature is going to give us the next test will be down here soon." Meg stated. "No wait!" Julia snapped out of her thoughts. "If I remember correctly from that Spongebob episode, we don't wait for the captain to go down for us, we go up to them." She said. "Well that was a cartoon." Leon responded. "This," he said. "this is real life." He looked at the floor. Julia runs up to the anchor. "Does real life involve us seing a half man half squid thing?" She said. Everyone was quiet. "Thought so too!" She started climbing the big metal chains connecting their ship to the phantom ship. She smiled at the group. "Anybody who wants to survive, please, follow me!" And she started climbing towards the ship above them. "I mean..." Rose said. "We don't have a better choice." She followed Julia up the chain.
