"I'm sorry!" Espen screams as he locks the necklace around Rhea's neck. On the spot, Rhea couldn't move anymore and her eyes started to melt. Rose covered her mouth in shock and looked away. Espen watched Rhea slowly dissolve into thin air, eventually all that was left were her clothes on the sand. "I'm not sure if I should believe you..." Espen said. "I just hope you know what you are doing." He looked at Rose. "Then, what made you decide?" She asked. "I'm not sure." Espen responded. "I just went with what I thought was best." He looked at the clothes on the sand. "I'm glad you thought that way..." Rose says, and she hugs him. Then Siren appeared. "Glad indeed, don't forget the necklace on your way back. And of course the figure." She said. "I'd say good luck, but you're going to need more of that if you want to survive the rest of the night." She throws the figure on the pile of clothes and disappears again. Espen picks it up, together they get teleported out of the room.
Back on the upper deck, Esmay, Roi and Roan have returned to normal. "Huh... What happened?" Esmay was confused. She looked at Roan and Roi. "I remember creatures emitting smoke, and they turned you, Rhea and Espen into these weird creatures. I'm missing something. Where did everyone go?" Roi responded with a followup question. Esmay looked confused. "I remember a smoke, but not turning into some weird monster." She said. "That's because you and Espen were the first to transform." Roi answered. "I go up on the deck and I am the first to succumb to the latest nightmare this night has to offer." Esmay said and she'd sigh.
"Yes! Everyone's back to normal!" Meghan cheered and she ran onto the deck with Leon. "No thanks to you two, you let us turn into who-knows-what." Roi said. "You were turned into sirens." Leon answered. "That doesn't make sense." Roan says. "They are beings who sing to lure sailors into rocks that sink their ships. This was smoke." He explained. "Hang on!" Esmay said. "Where are Rhea, Espen and Rose? Weren't they up here with us?" She asks. "Yeah," Roi said. "Rhea and Espen fell victim to the smoke and Rose tripped before being succumbed too." He continued. They were silent for a while. "We had to send people into the trial and we chose them." Meghan then said, guilt obviously detectable in her voice. "But Rhea was an accident!" Leon quickly said. "We didn't mean to vote her in." The moment he said it, Espen and Rose appeared on the deck, Espen holding the figurine and Rose holding the necklace. "No! Rhea!" Leon yelled. "What did you do?!" He asked. "She's dead." Espen said. "We kille-" Rose tried to say, but Espen interrupted her. "She sacrificed herself." He said. "No," Rose said. "We killed her, we had no choice and she wouldn't listen!" She looked at Leon, he was filled with rage. "Listen to what?!" He asked. "The lies you were feeding him?!" He took the necklace and looked at it. "Here we go again..." Rose quietly said to herself. "Espen did it!" She said. "And I wasn't lying." She looked at Espen and took a step away. "Hey! You ordered me to put the necklace on her!" Espen said. "Yeah, but you listened!" She said, and looked at Espen who seemed truly upset. "Necklace?" Roan asked "What necklace?" He looked at Rose. "Our trial was to put this weird necklace together. Then when I put it on Rhea it caused her to disintegrate or something." Espen answered. "We also got the next figure." Rose said.
"I don't think we should roll the dice again!" Meghan says. "I don't care if we die out there, it's way better than this craziness Jeremiah is making us do!" She looks at the door leading down to the lower deck. "I agree!" Rose responds. "Why can't we just go after him? He's the enemy!" She says. "Killing the captain won't break us free from whatever his plan is! We need to keep playing the game!" Leon yells. "Are you crazy!?" Rose asks. "Three of us already died! Another roll will get us killed!" She says. "Maybe you deserve it for killing Julia and Rhea." Espen says. "I didn't kill Julia! I watched her get shot and Rhea wouldn't listen!" Rose says. "To what? The lies you're making up?" Leon asks. He walked off with Roi and Roan.
