The skeleton hands Esmay the figure, then he starts pulling on her arm. "Hey! That hurts!" Esmay says. She feels another pair of bone fingers pulls on her other arm, these skeletons are inhumanely strong. They start pulling as hard as they can. "Stop! This isn't how you treat winners!" Esmay yells. The skeletons grab her legs too now and walk away from eachother. When Esmay starts cracking, they don't stop. She screams in pain. Eventually, her lower arms and legs give up. She falls to the ground on her back and heavily bleeds from the missing limbs, still screaming. The skeletons throw her arms and legs into the water, her right hand still holding the figure. Esmay's screaming seizes.

Rose much later arrives with her canoe, not knowing what has happened, she starts complaining to herself. "This is it..." She says. "Esmay made it here first, I let everyone down... Meghan, Angel... Everyone! Might as well let these skeletons kill me right now." She steps out of her canoe, spreads her arms ready for whatever is about to kill her. Nothing happens a while long, and she decides to peek at her surroundings, suddenly noticing Esmay's hand, clammed between the jaws of a skull floating in the water. "What happened?!" Rose asks. "I thought the first person to make it to the end point survived!" She says. "You both never let me finish my sentence..." The other skeleton says. "I meant to say, will win the oppertunity to join their fellow passengers in hell." He explains. "That means..." Rose looks down at the hand in the water. "You're safe! Good right?" The skeleton says. "Now take the figure and get out of here, the island doesn't want any more visitors after that leather jacket boy burned a tree down." He says. Rose releases the figure from Esmay's hand and takes it with her on her way back to the boat.

The people on the ship hear someone climbing the ladder. "Esmay!" Roan says. He runs in the direction of the ladder but stops. Rose climbs over the edge of the ship. Roan tears up, he turns around and looks at Roi, Espen and Leon. "Assholes." He says. Roan runs inside to the lower deck. Rose tightly holds the figure and walks towards the others. "Here." She says. She puts the figure down on a table. Leon angrily looks at her. "Why don't you just give up?" He says, and he also goes downstairs. "Shit..." Espen says. "Rose, you made it..." Meghan says, filled with hope. She hugs Rose. "You're so brave..." She says. Rose stays quiet and just holds Meghan close to her. "I watched." Espen said. Rose looks at him. "I'm so sorry..." He says. "Wait, how did you watch?" Meghan asked. "There was a little crack in the ship's wall, I could see through it." He responds. "Can you tell me what happened?" Rose asks. "The skeleton ripped her limbs off after putting the figure in her hand." Espen says. "You sure are lucky." Roi says. "I tried to explain it to Roan and Leon, but they won't believe me when I say you're innocent." Espen says. "They think Jeremiah brainwashed me or something..." He says. "Are they the only ones who think I'm guilty of everything going on here?" Rose asks. Roi nods. "Leon needs to feel what a trial feels like." Rose says. "Woah there." Espen says. "We still want to get out of here, and he is currently the strongest AND the smartest here." He explains. "We can't just vote him out now." He says. "I agree with Rose." Roi says. "If we make Leon and Roan compete, one of them will die making their opinion powerless, we'll be able to overpower Jeremiah." Meghan says. "Allies?" Rose says, and she holds her hand in front of her. Meghan puts her hand on top of hers. "Allies." She says. Roi does the same. Espen hesitates but also puts his and on.
