Escape the Night

~ Finale ~

Rose comes running upstairs, to the ritual. "Where's Roi?" Meghan asks. "I can't find him." Rose says. "There's no time to lose, the spell will run out in 2 minutes!" Jeremiah says. "If we don't create the portal within two minutes it won't open." He says. "Roi can find his own way up here." Jeremiah says. Leon steps out of the circle and takes out the letter that was in the bottle from the first challenge. He'd read through the paper in shock. "Wait..." He'd say. He looks at Jeremiah, noticing Jeremiah's eyes weren't as bright as they were before. Jeremiah nodded at Leon, and Leon nodded back.

Leon p.o.v.

The note holds revival spell, for Rose's friend, Angel. When I looked into Jeremiah's eyes and noticed the color had changed over time, I realised something. Everyone was so caught up in Lucas's death, that we all forgot the message that was in the bottle. This message was written by Jeremiah, the message says that he will be possessed and that he will force us guests to kill each other off, and that the real enemy is Rose. I quote from the letter now. Rose, the girl who will show up in an aviator outfit, can not be trusted. If she ever tells you about a friend of hers named Angel, it's a lie. They're actually mortal enemies, who fought against eachother in the great war between good and evil. Angel, who is part of the Society Against Evil, fell into Rose's trap some time ago. Rose has had many different identities, she is originally known as Lilith, a gang leader who held shelter in a castle with her gang, doing the same things to Angel and other people who were invited which is now happening to you. Angel died in the events by sacrificing herself to return the final item to help Keira and Gábor escape. You need to prepare to summon her, so she can finish off what Lilith, aka Rose, started. That was my quote, so this is what we are doing now, we're reviving someone who will kill the person who let us kill eachother. It already felt right to be against Rose at first, so I guess I was right.

"Time to read the spell." Leon says. "Should I give you the honor?" He says to Meghan, and he hands her the letter. Meghan looks at him with a confused look, but she starts reading anyway.

Meghan p.o.v.

This isn't right, this isn't real... I can't believe I fell in love with such a person. So they were all right... Julia, Rhea, Esmay, Roan... They were right about Rose. God, I'm so gullible, I should have listened to them! Now I killed off innocent people who were just trying to get home. How come I fell for this trap, how come I fell for these lies... How come I fell for this girl? I look at Rose, and I start reading the spell outloud. "Angel Schofield, you who lived yesterday, return to us through the power of this blood diamond!" The necklace that killed Rhea starts floating and glowing. I look at Rose, who looks scared. And this time I know it's genuine. A wormhole opens up above the circle and a silhouette appears. Lightning strikes through the portal onto the deck, into the sky. The girl's silhouette is struggling to keep it together, but she's doing it. The silhouette keeps getting bigger and bigger, until the portal pops and the girl falls down onto the deck. "Angel!" I hear Leon yell. Angel falls from the sky and lands on the deck. "How do you know her name? She's my friend!" Rose says. "You showed me her picture!" Leon says. I run to Angel and help her up, knowing she must be in shock.

After Leon and Meghan managed to help Angel up, Angel angrily stares at Rose. "You..." Angel says. Angel runs towards Rose and violently hits her in her face. "Lilith! You horrible piece of shit!" Angel yells. She takes out a gun from her belt. "It's revenge time." Angel says, and she checks what Rose is wearing. "I think Keira and Gábor successfully destroyed your necklace, didn't they?" She says, as she points the gun at Rose's chest. "Have mercy!" Rose screams. "Not so immortal now." Angel says as she pulls the trigger. A loud gunshot echoes throughout the entire space. "Now where is Roi..." Leon says. "Dead." Angel says. "What?!" Meghan yells. "Rose killed him, because he found out about her secret." She says. "Then why didn't she kill us? We also found out about it." Leon says. "Because she thought all the note contained was the spell." Angel says. "But lucky you two... Rose is dead now." Angel says. "But Roi..." Leon says. "I know, such a pity..." Angel says. "Is there a way to revive him?!" Meghan asks. "This is so unfair!" She says. "Every time the evil forces put a task like this one on 10 guests, one revive is possible, you wasted yours on me." Angel says. "So this happened to you too?" Meghan asks. "Yes." Angel responds. "While we sail on our way to the bermuda triangle, why don't you tell them about your story, Angel?" Jeremiah asks. "Right." Angel says. "Wait, why the bermuda triangle?" Leon asks. "It's the only way to get back to the real world." Jeremiah says, and he walks off. "Should I start from the beginning?" Angel says. "Please." Leon responds. "Alright, I'll start with the people who were there..." Angel sits down at a table with Meghan and Leon, and they finish their drinks they got from the bar at the beginning of the night. They're glad they survived...
