THE NEXT DAY, HAJIRA SWORE EVERYTHING WAS FALLING APART AROUND HER. She had to deal with several things when she wished everything would wind down. She had to deal with her complicated feelings for Rafael, her own mother, Adom's own troubles and even Jane's troubles with both her father & the baby. It was not an easy week, that's for sure.

At the Marbella, Hajira could tell something was up with Jane and she had a feeling they both had a similar trouble. Upon asking, it seemed like she was totally correct. "So, your dad is not the easiest person to converse with, I guess?" she asked as she shuffled the important papers she had fax while in her office with the latina.

"More like we can't even talk about my mom—" she stopped midway, looking at the expression the Arya woman expressed, "Hey! I tried and it's not easy."

Hajira had wanted to at least talk to her mom in a non-angry way. She could understand Xiomara's reasons but Jane did have a right to be upset. Then again, even her mother had done worse.

"Jane, just try understanding where she came from and maybe forgive your mom for one mistake."

"Okay! So, I'm supposed to understand she hid my father from me all these years when I've always wanted to know. She lied to my face, for years!" she whisper yelled, not wanting to bring attention to herself.

"Yeah, because he left and was, what, eighteen years old? Anyone would be scared for that kind of thing and in her own mind, she was protecting you! So yeah, I think you should, considering."

"Considering what?"

"Considering...I think of worse things Xiomara could've done" she muttered as she glanced elsewhere. In the last few days, not-so-joyful memories of mommy dearest had popped up in her head. Especially, after her not desired confrontation with her parents.

"Like what?" Jane asked back, not gathering the somber connotation Hajira had implied with her own troubles.

"I-I don't know but just think about what you're mom has done for you. Hell, I have seen what she did for you, growing up. So...just consider forgiving her, alright?"

"I'll try—okay? I don't even know if there's enough room for that by itself."

"What do you mean by that?"

"This whole baby thing and Michael and Adom—"

"What about Adom?" she questioned curiously.

"N-Nothing really, it just feels...weird. He's like my best friend and things with Michael have been rocky but..." she led off, unsure.

"I get what you mean."

"Rafael?"

"I guess, I mean—I don't know."

"You know, you can tell me what's going on, Jira" she quietly consoled, giving the manager a slight rub on her arm.

"You've got enough on your plate, Janey. The least I can do is listen and help" she sincerely replied, a smile prominent on her face. Soon enough, they end up parting ways as Jane had to tend to more tables and more. Hajira finds herself walking back to her desk, immediately picking up the phone as it's incessant ringing was annoying.

"Hello, this is the Marbella, how can I help you—"

"Jira, it's me." Her father's voice rang, causing a low sigh to erupt from her lips.

"What's up, dad?" she asked, sounding tired. She was, at least regarding anything having to do with her parents.

"I couldn't reach your cell phone but I needed to tell you something before you got home." He sounded practically ominous, worrying the dark skinned Arya.

"Uh, should I be worried?"

"You know how your contact information and address are listed on my emergency contact files? Well...your mother looked through it and is heading to your place after work. She just now told me and I thought I should tell you—"

"She's what?" she basically whispered, shock and annoyance building up in her body. "Can you tell her to not randomly show up at my place? Rosa will be there before me and doesn't know her and—god, why does she do this?"

"Jira, I'm sorry, she wanted to at least look at my information and I didn't think it'd do any harm."

"I-It's fine. It's not your fault, dad. I-I'll just deal with her. Maybe she'll take the message this time."

"I hope so."

"I hope so too" she muttered before saying a simple 'goodbye' to her father, then promptly hanging up. Rubbing her temples, she feel as though now everything was irrelevant besides the infuriating fact her mother was trying every unruly way to enter her life, again.

At best, she'd be locked out by Rosa & cause a scene, which would create an even more adverse situation. Sometimes, she wished she was someone else. Maybe those problems would be of a different matter if she was.

She wouldn't have to deal with her conflicting crushes, her parents, or even Jane's crazy life as it is. Although, she enjoyed the calmer parts of her life. Still, it was frustrating. Turning around, she faced her computer to gaze through the numerous but boring e-mails she had to decipher from Rafael.

Like most people, she had a breaking point.
