*Just another little warning, substance abuse is included in this chapter along with sexual assault. If you are triggered by either one, I'd recommend you skip those parts. I'll make a mark next to where it starts and ends*

Nikki's POV
I heard the house phone ring right as I got out of the shower. Before I could even get out, Vince answered it.

"Hey dude, where are you" I hear him ask. I'm assuming it's Tommy on the other side since I didn't see him when I got out of bed earlier.

"Okay yeah, I'll ask the boys if they are down."

Vince hung up the phone and walked towards the room and knocked on the door.

"You decent" he asked on the other side.

"Yeah, come in" I reply putting on an old ripped up KISS shirt.

"Remember those girls from last night."

How could I not?? Especially Kat. After what I remember from last night, I felt a completely different high with her, other than what the blow did to me.

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Well T-Bone is over there and the girls invited us over for dinner."

"That's cool. What time?"

"At 6pm, so in about 20 minutes."

At the girls house...

Mick knocked on the door and Tommy open it. I could hear the girls laughing from inside. When we all walked in, we took a seat in the living room. Tommy was flipping through the channels to try to find something to watch. He was awfully making himself at home here. I noticed Kat was in the kitchen cooking. Whatever it was, it smelled amazing. I don't really even remember the last time I had a nice, home cooked meal since the guys and I have been so busy for the past months.

"We brought some beer and whiskey" Vince said holding up in the air, walking into the kitchen and setting it down.

"Thanks Vince" Kat replied looking up at him and then seeing me, making eye contact. I could tell she was blushing a little. "Food should be ready in like 2 minutes."

After we were all done eating, we were all drinking and getting pretty buzzed. I noticed Kat was a little quiet tonight compared to how she was yesterday. Maybe I was getting the wrong impression and she wasn't as interested as I thought she was. This feeling I felt inside of me was different. I know I just met her and all, but there's just something about her that draws me to her even more.

"I'm gonna go out for a smoke she said getting up and grabbing a lighter right next to the front door. I got up and followed.

I closed the door behind me. She lit her joint and inhaled, holding it in.

"Want some" she asked moving it towards me.

"Sure" I replied taking a hit.

"I hope you aren't getting the wrong impression of me." There was a pause. "What happened last night, I don't usually do. I hope that you're cool with us just being friends. I'm not looking for anything serious at the moment really" she finishes.

Damn. Straight up like that. I don't know why I was a little hurt by that.

"Don't worry, neither am I" I said trying to sound cocky and not shocked by how blunt she was.

"We could still mess around though if you want" I added.

"What, like friends who just mess around without the commitment" she asks looking at me.
