Chapter 11: Forever With You - Part 2

About three hours into the party and still not sight of my dad. Figures. I already knew his whole sobriety promise was just a joke. All the guys were playing beer pong as I watched from the side. God, how I wish I could have a drink of something. My nerves are shot. But I'm not dumb, so I'm not drinking anything.

"You good, birthday girl" Vince asked coming over to me, putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm good" shooting him a fake smile.

"No you aren't, Kat" he said making a pouting face. "It's your dad, huh" he finished asking.

"Yeahhhh, but it's not like he was really actually going to come. I can't remember the last time I actually saw him."

"Well he is missing out. He doesn't deserve an amazing daughter like you. He realize it one day."

"Time for cake, guys" Ember yelled out from behind me. I made my way up to Ember as everyone surrounded the area where the cake was. Once everyone made their way over and started to sing. I couldn't believe this many people were here for me. Half of the people that I saw, I didn't even recognize. But they were all here for me, so I guess it made me feel pretty good. Once everyone got their piece of cake, Nikki walked over to me.

"Hey Kat, can you come outside with me real quick. I need to get some fresh air" Nikki says grabbing my hand. He probably has had a little too much to drink.

"Sure baby" I say following him outside.

The place we are at was right on the beach, kind of off a cliff so the view was amazing. We sat down on a nearby bench. He put his arm around me and I rested my hand on my small tummy.

"I think it's going to be a girl" Nikki said putting his other hand on my belly. He was quiet and rubbing my belly for a good minute.

"What are you thinking about, babe" I ask looking up at him. He looked up at me.

"C'mere" he said getting up and helping me up from the bench as well. We walked over to a more open spot. He turned to face me and grabbed both of my hands in his. A smirk then appeared on his face.

"Kat, you've literally made me the happiest guy in the entire world. I couldn't picture anybody else I'd rather be with. You put up with my shit all the time and still continue to love and care for me." He then got down on one knee and pulled out a little black box.

"Katrina Lee Graves, will you do the honors of being mine for eternity and marry me?"

I literally couldn't believe what I was hearing. I felt like my heart was in my throat. It was pounding really fast. I could feel the tears in my eyes start to fill up.

"Yes Nikki, I will" I said, nodding my head as a yes.

I heard cheering and clapping coming from inside as I saw everybody looking out the huge window to us. We then both walked in hand in hand. Everyone was congratulating us. Now I knew exactly why Nikki wanted to be in charge of everything, making sure everything was perfect.

A few hours pass by...

I kept looking down at my ring. It was beyond gorgeous. My man really has good taste. Shit. I was going to be Mrs. Kat Lee Sixx. It had such a different but good ring to it.

The party was coming to an end, considering it was almost 11pm. I was starting to get a little sleepy, but I was sure there was going to be a smaller party back at the guys place for just our friends and bands.

"You guys are perfect for each other" my mom says coming over to me and sitting down. She grabs my hand and admired my ring. I look over at Nikki who is laughing it up with the rest of the guys and a few other guys from another band. God, he looks so happy. He looked over at me and smiled, and I returned a smile back. I looked back over at my mom and she had tears filling up her eyes.
