Too Fast For Love

Chapter 8: Tonight

At 5am, the alarm clock started going off. I was the first one to wake up, meaning I had to get the guys up. No later than 30 minutes later, we were all getting on the bus. We were headed up to San Francisco for the guys next show. I decided now would probably be the best time for me to fall asleep since I barely got any last night. I played down on the couch next to Nikki while I played my head on his lap. He played with my hair, softly stroking it and putting it behind my ear.

Nikki's POV

I looked down at Kat while she slept. She looked so peaceful when she slept.

"You're really in love with her man, aren't you" Vince said sitting down next to me handing me a beer along with him opening one for himself.

"Yeah, and it's scaring the shit out of me. I don't know why."

"Scared to settle down?"

"I mean no, not really. It's just a different feeling."

Mick was sitting at the little table with his girl. He shot a look over at me like he knew something I didn't know. I decided to just ignore it for the moment.

The drive to San Francisco seemed like forever. Kat was still asleep on me. I fell asleep more than halfway through and then the bus stopped, which made me wake up fully. Kat was still knocked out.

"Just gonna fill up and then we will be at the hotel in less than an hour" our bus driver said.

I slowly got up from the seat, gently laying Kat's head down. She moved a little to get comfortable as I covered her up with the blanket, kissing the top of her forehead. Vince and Tommy followed behind me as we left the bus to go get something to eat from inside the convenience store.

"Maybe you should get her this" Tommy says throwing over a pregnancy test to me. "Then it'll explain why she's been knocked out hard, sleeping all the way from Vegas to here" he finished saying.

Instantly, I dropped the thing to the ground. There would be no way that she is pregnant. There's was no way I was going to be a father right away either. My dream life just started. I'm not letting anything like that get in the way. I know that sounds kind of harsh, but what 25 year old rock star wants to be stuck with a kid??

"Oh fuck off" I said throwing it back at Tommy.

Once we all got back on the bus, we puffed out on all the junky food we could find and turned on the tv to watch a movie. Kat has just barely woken up and was very quiet, which was a little odd.

"Oh shit" she said getting up and running to the bathroom. Next thing we all heard was her throwing up. Linda quickly got up and help comfort her in the bathroom. Tommy looked over at me and raised an eyebrow. I was trying not to think too much into it all.

After a good 10 minutes, Linda comes out, Kat following behind after cleaning herself up.

"I think I ate something bad last night" she said  sitting down next to me, curling up in a ball.

"You sure" I said kind of hesitantly. She looked up at me and nodded her head. I put my arm around her and rubbed her arm to comfort her.

Kat's POV

As soon as we got to the arena, the guys all kicked it in the back. There was a mall close by so Linda and I decided to tell the boys that we were headed over there to do a little bit of shopping before the show. It was the perfect excuse to go find a local obgyn clinic for a check up. It wasn't too far of a drive, only 9 minutes away. I don't think any of the guys but Mick would start to wonder of anything.

When we got to the clinic, it was completely empty. I went up to the front desk to get the papers I needed to fill out. Once I finished, I gave it back to the front desk lady.
