27. The another bastard (Part 1)

I stopped talking as I realized how close he was to me.

His eyes move to my lips and so did mine.

Immediately I averted my eyes towards the lake. Suddenly the Misty air felt pleasant. The sun is setting down, illuminating a flawless blend of breathtaking colours.

I felt this urge to look towards him, so I did.

My breath got caught as I found him gazing at me intently.

My heart is now pounding against my chest as I once again found him staring at my lips.

For a long moment we stared at each other. I'm certain that I'm not the only one who is feeling the sensuality.

I ran a hand through my hair as the wind picked up. His eyes followed my move.

One of strand fell against my cheeks and he took the opportunity to set it back behind my ear.

My body tensed as he gently placed his palm on my cheek.

As if under the spell my gaze drawn to his lips once again.

I don't know who moved closer, but now our faces are nearly touching.

I felt a gentle tug under my chin, which made me tipped my head back.

As a result, his lips touched mine.

It was a whisper of a touch, so tentative, the sensation so light.

~14 hours before~

Derek's party was on Friday which I decided to skip.

The next day I skipped college too because I was too weak to attend any lectures.

Sunday went in blur and today is Monday.

Ugh, Monday! Which means I've to drag my ass out of the bed and go to the college.

But today, it's going to be fun because I have only 2 lectures to attend and there this is Film festival 'Festival de Cine' organized by cinematography students.

Now, since this event is under student council, so the council head Pearl asked me to enroll for the festival too. But I politely declined, saying I have many stuffs on my plate already.

Seeing her disappointment I offered to give her assistance in the Fest. And now, I'm regretting it because I had to come college at 7am! Ugh!

Though she asked me to come at 6, but whatever.

Who comes college this early?

Not me.

I was alone in the big auditorium making a chart of the seating arrangements for the participants when I heard footsteps approaching me.

I turned around to see if any volunteer has stepped in, but was surprised when I see no one.

Huh, that's strange.

I went to the Green room to see whether the mementos which are to be given in felicitation to the dignitaries has arrived or not. The mementos are royally engraved with our college logo it was simple yet elegant.

Out nowhere an arm snaked around my waist and I gasped in shock. The hot breath fan in my left ear because of which I shivered, "Just because you ditched the party it doesn't mean I won't be able to ruin your days in various several ways Forbes."
