Pain, the feeling of betrayal, misery was sketched onto Derek's face.

I stayed silent, unable to form any coherent sentence. The complications are endless and by the looks of everyone in this room, it seems like there are many more things that are going to be unveiled tonight.

Derek's eyes momentarily met mine, his forest green eyes reflected sorrow.

"There was only one person who said truth to me about this from the start, but I never listened." He crossed the distance between us and stood in front of me. "I took your moment of hesitation as an opportunity to use it against you, I was aware that you didn't remember things clearly and I used it to make you feel miserable. " I looked away, unable to hold my tears back.

I stayed silent for nothing, I blamed myself for nothing, I doubted myself for nothing.

I should have believed the reports and evidence from the beginning, I tormented myself to remember things that never happen in the first place.

Derek sighed heavily and stepped back, he twirled to Blake. "I always thought you were whipped for Forbes and that can be the only reason why you chose to be her friend and broke all contacts with me." Derek scoffs loudly. "You portrayed the role of knight in shining armor for her. You acted as if she is a damsel in distress who needed your attention and caring." He shook his head, "You fed me the stuff of feminism, saying I should respect Diana, I shouldn't debase her, I shouldn't do this and that. "

He jerked his thumb towards me, looking at Blake, "I was not harassing her because she is a female, Blake. I did things because in my mind I thought I am avenging my dead MOTHER! I know it's a lousy excuse to explain my doings." He glanced in my direction. "I know, I don't have any certified justification which will make you forget all the horrendous stuff I have done and I am 100% sure it's impossible from your side to even think of forgiving me."

He gave mirthless laugh, "Blake, you could have made it clear that nobody died, you could have told me that Diana Forbes has killed no one, all the bloody times you told me to keep my language in check, but never once you slipped the fact that the person I have been grieving for is not even related to me!" Derek screamed.

"Blake can't be held liable over something that your family failed to inform you about." Issa- Arsen says. Derek scowled at him. "Do not meddle in this."

Issa-Arsen sighed heavily he massaged the back of his neck and looked at Blake, "You can't forever be silent, Blake. You have to open your mouth and start talking, there's no reason for you to stay quiet." He leaned against the wall he twisted the ring on his finger. "Because if you won't," He gazed at me "I will."

I wonder if the things that he has told me about him are true.

Are Issac and Arsen the same person?

Would I be a fool to trust him?

One thing that I am sure about is there's no future for us.

I was aware of this from the beginning due to which I hesitated to act upon my feelings for him.

Now that it's clear and evident I can't help, but feel like crying.

A part of me always pictured us together, happy and content together. I would be lying if I say we never bicker in my imaginations, we did. However, we eased things out.

"You know what baffles me?" Derek states and I tore my eyes away from Arsen.

"For a change, It's me who is yelling and not Diana." His eyes darted to mine. "What happened to you? I was so sure that you will yell at them so loudly that they would be literally blown away to another continent."
