"You seem like a brigand, who is gearing up to rob a village."

"Shut up Issac."

We wait back at the auditorium till three in the afternoon, Mike's group performed on the topic value and ethics, The message was to be kind to others and always help them. Mike played the role of a boy who helps elderly people. The whole act was adorable.

Mona fell asleep in Issac's arms after playing a hyperactive nonstop game of peek-a-boo peek-a-boo with him. It melted my heart to see how awfully cute they were.

We bid our farewell and made our way to the bus stop.

Since it was afternoon time sun was at top blazing fires, within two minutes I started to sweat profoundly. That's why I tied the scarf over my face so that Issac won't see the horrible sight of my face. To which he kept on commenting on it.

"Why are you wearing it anyway? No one is going to recognize you here. We are in southside of the city."

How shall I tell him I'm wearing it so that you won't run away from me?

"I'm wearing it to protect my skin from UV rays. I'm sensitive to it."

As a matter of fact It's actually true!

"Don't you apply those anti-sun lotions and all over your skin?"

"No. I'm always late for lectures I don't get time for it."

Once I woke up fifteen minutes early to apply sunscreen, I missed the first lecture. Since then I didn't take the pain to wake up early to put a damn lotion.

"I'm starving, is there any cafe around?" It's been a while now we are walking. Issac said he has some other place to go too and started marching. He didn't bother to ask me whether I want to accompany him or not.Without asking him anything I followed him like a lost puppy.

I guess that rascal has figured out I'll follow him anywhere he will go.

Today I only had a single frappuccino and some fries that he offered. If I continue to walk for even five minutes then, I might collapse into the ground or if my stars up there are lucky then I might fall into Issac's arms just like little Mona did.

Hmm, I should try it.

As tempting it sounds I pushed past that thought.

"You are fond of avengers aren't you?" Out of the blue Issac asked me.

"Yes."

"Good." He said with a mysterious smirk curved on his lips.

°°°°°°°°°°°°°

Issac says that I never fail to amaze him, but today the table has turned.

First, he took me to an elementary school and now we are in an Avengers theme cafe!

I was awestruck by the ambience!

At our table there was a plant which was shaped as baby Groot! The menu was shaped as Captain America's shield! There are so many things, if I begin to describe each of them, then it might take a whole day!

God! I'm so overwhelmed I think I might cry with joy!

"This place is amazing!"

"This is the fifth time you are saying this Diana."

"I know!" I exclaimed in excitement.

"This place is awesome!" I whispered to him for the nth time.

His eyes flicked towards me, his lips looped upwards. "I understand your excitement and I'm delighted to see you this happy. However, can you  first place your order so that there won't be any interruptions by waitress while you explore the place?" He suggested giving my palm a squeeze and I felt a warm tug in my chest.

We placed our orders to the waitress. Once she was gone I smiled at Issac.

"Mona is very fond of you."

Issac mirrored my expressions and nodded. "After I get back from college and freshen up I always spend at least an hour of the day to play with her. If I fail to do so, she creates a ruckus." At the end he chuckled. I didn't say anything as I observed him. He seemed calm and contented and I didn't want to steal that from him by opening my mouth and saying anything stupid.

"Being with her seems like I'm with Bea." The smile from his lips fades. He looked blankly outside the window. "It's been a long time since I have seen my little sister or my family." He whispered, his shoulders falling in defeat. I felt my heart clench when the words fell from his mouth.

"Why don't you take a leave and visit them?"

He dejectedly shook his head, "I can't." Hurt was evident on his face. I pray his sister is fine mentally and physically.

Number of questions were hovering in my mind, but the words were stuck in my throat as I remember what he once said to me, Sometimes we just have to wait for the right time
and it's crystal clear he doesn't want to talk further on this. I didn't press for it either. Thankfully, our meals arrived and we ate in silence.

As the seconds passed the silence was getting uncomfortable, Issac simply gazed down  his plate, he seemed to be deep thoughts. Though he was sitting right in front of me it felt like he was far away in his real world.

I broke the unbearable silence by praising the taste and quality of the food and asked him whether he has been here before. He looked up from his plate and shook his head. "This is the first time I'm here. Mike keeps on talking about this place so I thought to give a shot.  His favourite's are cheesy fries and choco moco milkshake."

Like that we got busy with small talks. We talked about Mike,  new restaurants, cafes, diners in city and town. My phone chimed with an email notification from the internship placement cell, We talked about it and he said he has given  interviews at three law firms and is waiting for their confirmation emails. Now, since he mentioned LAW, he talked about business law for fifteen minutes!

I first glared at him with furious intensity, it didn't work. I bared expressions on my face and sit there in front of him like a dead zombie. He noticed and finally gave up with a sigh.

"Whatever Forbes, if you're failing in that subject then don't come running to me."

I rolled my eyes and asked the waitress for the bill.

"Don't even think I'm going to let you pay."

"Well, as you said earlier," I took a dramatic pause and batted my eyelashes at him "it's not a date. We will split the bill."

He opened his mouth to protest, but I cut him off. "No, you are not paying for me."

"Fine." He muttered. I smiled cheekily at him.

"By the look on your face I can say this place is now your favorite." He said opening the cafe's door for me.

"Indeed." I nodded my head like Noddy happily, he chuckled and slide his hands to mine.

My heart literally stopped beating for a second.

Oh my! I will never get over the feeling of his skin on mine, will I?

"So, now where to?" I asked as we walked side by side in the lonely street.

"To the jungle."

"The what?"
