ISSAC'S POV
The entire night I tossed and turned on the bed, but just couldn't find the right position. A lingering haze of sleep sat somewhere at the back of my mind but was too far away to reach, floating in the pool of my thoughts. My head was clouded with thoughts of Mom, Bea and Diana.
At that moment, I knew this was going to be a long night.
Just when my eyelids shut I hear an alarm goes off. I glanced at the digital clock on my night stand. It was Five in the morning. I sighed and rolled over to my left side and finally drowned into the sleep.
At six again the alarm goes off, which startle me. However, ignoring it, I fell back into the sleep again as I was exhausted.
Then at seven am, the alarm beeps again with a different alarm tune. I groaned into the pillow and finally got out of the bed. I marched into the living room and saw Diana being sprawled on the couch.
One leg of her was on couch handle and the other was on the coffee table. Both of her hands were thrown around her head on the pillow. Her eyes were puffed which clearly indicated she is in deep sleep. However, I'm concern she is going to get her muscles tight by sleeping like this.
The reason why yesterday she was out, late was because her parents were out of the town. Since it was already three am, I offered her to sleep here. However, she protested against it. Finally, after bickering for about thirty minutes we finally settled that she will sleep on the couch. I insisted her to sleep on my bed, but she said my giant form won't fit in.
I had planned to sleep till nine am, at least. But the plan got ruined because of this obnoxious creature sprawled on the couch as she set total five alarms.
"Diana." I called her name, no response.
"Diana." I said her name little louder, yet nothing.
I tapped her shoulder, "Diana." Nothing.
I leaned down to her ears and yelled, "DIANA."
I expected her to jump up all startled.
But, NOTHING.
I stared down at her, this girl didn't even flinched.
Bloody hell, what kind of sleeping creature is she?
For a moment I thought to leave her on the couch, but concerned laced my mind seeing her sleeping position. Breathing heavily, I take off the duvet cautiously. She was wearing my black T- Shirt and underneath it she was wearing her skin tight cotton like a pant, which I don't know what is called.
I take her left leg off of the coffee table and placed it with the right one. Putting my arm around her back, just when I was about to put the other one around her legs, she sighed loudly and rolled to her left side. Kicking my face in the process.
The blow was so strong, I had to sit there clutching my forehead for five minutes.
Thank god, she didn't hit my nose otherwise by now it would have been bleeding.
Giving up, I went to the bathroom attached to my room and quickly did the morning routine.
When I get out of the bathroom, I got the whiff of toasted bread.
Confused, I went straight to the kitchen from my room to greet with the sight of Diana looking like death.
Her hair looked like she had just been in a storm. Her eyes were swollen, she had bags under eyes. In fact, her eyes were hardly open. She stood in front of the coffee machine with closed eyes.
