"All right then," said Palladium. "Now that you know the basics, let's begin."

"Plasmasphere," His entire body was illuminated in a golden glow.

A ball of light appeared in his hands.

"This is a plasmasphere summoned from direct invoccation," He states. "Someone want to give it a try?"

"I'll try!" I reply.

"Alright, Stella, be my guest," Palladium responds. "but remember one syllable in the wrong place could be enough to burn all the air right out of this room."

Yikes! At least Palladium was honest, I was having serious doubts now.

"On second thought," I state. "I'd rather not. Heat is bad for my hair. Amaryll sweetie why don't you give it a go?"

"I'll get you for this," She groans walking down into the middle of the room.

I listened to Palladium's instructions.

"Once the image is well defined in your head, you may invoke it," Palladium instructs.

Amaryll groans like she's concentrating.

"Stay focused. Let your mind penetrate," Palladium speaks.

"Plasmasphere," Amaryll spoke.

"Now imagine you are inside the sphere," Palladium instructs softly and firmly. "Now imagine it illuminating within you. Imagine you are one with the sphere. This special visualization is called inversion."

There was a moment of silence.

"Amaryll spread your hands." Palladium spoke.

A ball of light appeared between them.

"Wow!" All the students gasped.

"Now choose a target and launch it," Palladium adds. "But remember to keep your focus, or your classmates will wish they had worn sunscreen."

Amaryll smirked at that. The thing came right at me.

"Oh," I yelped.

"Defist!" Palladium shouts stopping it in the proccess right before it hit me. I sighed relieved.

Palladium turns to Amaryll and scolds her. "Do that again and I'll have you expelled. That is clear I hope?"

"Yes, sir." Amaryll answered.

Way later on.

"Hey!" exclaims Bloom as the enchanted sword broke in half.

"Bloom you chose the beautiful sword, because it seemed superior to you when in fact the dull sword has the stronger blade. These dents show the result of a mighty attack but the blade survived it because it is made of a special alloy. Never trust appearances. Look more closely for other clues about the truth."

That can go too ways with objects and nonobjects such as people.

"What other clues I wonder will reveal the truth about Avalon," Flora whispers to us.
