The Dungeons of Solaria

We had walked several milesalready when I tripped over a broken dove statue buried against an ancient tree root along the sand paths.

I looked across the way. The other doves stood as one piece. A tall stone building loomed over us. The guards bowed to the Captian.

"The Princess and the Countess want to speak to the new prisoners."

"Very well you may enter."

Carlo grabs a torch. He lights it the big heavy doors open with huge creaking noises of the hinge. We all had to grab our noses. The smell wafting up from the seemingly endless steps into the dark was totally horrendous.

"Smells like burnt rubber in here," said Bloom.

"You said it." replies Lillian.

"It smells like old damp and burnt tire." I specified for them.

"Eww! Grouse Stella!" says Bloom. "Did you really have to say that?"

"I'm just calling it as I see it girls," I responded. "What is that scratching sound?"

"Rats!" shouts Bloom. We had reached the bottom of the steps. I jumped. One scurried away from my feet. My heart was pounding.

"I don't mind mice but rats are dirty creatures."

Bloom lends a hand to me. Yeah okay admit it? Yeah, I stumbled down the steps.
We were in a wide hallway with strange looking armor and weapons.

"Which way do we go now?"

"Straight and down you'll come across two hallways and to the left. Cassandra's cell is down that way."

"Thank you," states Lillian.

"This place is starting to give me bad vibes."

"It was your idea Stella," states Lillian. "To back up whatever Bloom said. Honestly I don't think Cassandra is going to tell me what happened to my father."

"We can only try," sighed Bloom. "At least we have the guards to call for back up."

"Do you know how stubborn the royal guard of Solaria actually is?" inquires Lillian. "They've been upgraded. And Sky can't save you because he was banned of that ridiculous envybug on him."

"I hope Ace managed to fix it," says Bloom. "I've been so worried about him what if King Erendor demands me to tell him where his son is? I can't live with that no way not ever."
