In the office of Alfea Faragonda noticed on the desk the red light flashing.
"He is here, Faragonda. Master Hagen is still on Hoggart tell the fairies it's time." -The Apprentice
"Corwin," gasps Faragonda. She couldn't believe her luck Ace's older brother was alive. He had been referred to as the Apprentice for years now in the Magic Dimension.
At Red Fountain Sky looked into his old album that he had for Red Fountain his first and second year.
"What?" asked Sky. He ripped out Corwin's photo and placed it next to Ace's The only difference was the color of the hair Ace had blonde hair lighter than his own but the sea-green eyes matched.
"They're brothers?" He gasped. Brandon looked up over Sky's shoulder. "Corwin was the best student of class everyone said so even his classmates."
"Everyone except Saladin apparently," responds Sky. "I'll be right back Brandon."
"Sky I don't like your look." spoke Brandon. Sky glared at him. He walked out of the room.
"What was that about?" inquires Riven.
"Sky just gave me a really icy cold glare," replies Brandon. "It felt like that!"
Sky walked down the corridors of Red Fountain towards Saladin's office. It was nighttime. He knocked on Saladin's door. The door opened in response.
"Prince Sky," spoke Saladin. Sky lay the photos on the desk.
"Why didn't you tell me that nearly Senior student was Ace's brother?" He asked.
"I know you expelled him but why?" He asked. "There is no evidence he ever did anything wrong!"
"That's the thing he was all over the place." replied Saladin. "I didn't tell anyone because I don't trust that man."
"That's why you insisted on Ace to listen rather than help Bishop at least 2 years ago well I am glad he didn't listen to you!"
Saladin cringed at those words.
Corwin had been nearly through his junior year at Red Fountain when Sky, Riven, Brandon and Timmy first started there.
"He was impulsive arrogant rushing into things. Mixing up logic and instincts. Yet despite all his worst approaches in combat he was always came out on top." responds Saladin.
"The fairies change their mind thrice more frequently I would have thought you would have been a step behind Lady Faragonda and it looks Ms. Griffin is also a step ahead of us."
Saladin frowns at that.
"Griffin, Faragonda and I don't talk about Corwin anymore they're still mad at me for expelling him."
"They have a right to be!" yells Sky.
Flashback
3 years back. A young man with long Black hair blue and white suit and cape. Sky always remember that boy having a knack to meld metal together into the most unusual of objects but they were useful. His room was full of old trinkets. Lots and lots of old trinkets."Hey, Sky of Eraklyon huh?" Corwin asked. They were out in the garden. "Saladin is hard on everyone. And for the record, you're too princely to hide your real name from me."
I remembered gasping. What?
Note: this takes place after Stella's first Alfea Dance.
I began coughing. Green smoke.
"You'll thank me later Sky when we meet again and you'll remember what Windy told you then but for now it's best you forget both of us. I'm leaving Red Fountain!"
