For the Better

Back at the Gardenia Castle Elsa and Moana took the stage. The clock had rewinded a full hour back. It was as if time had never passed. Yet Frieda and Lillian knew it wasn't true and so did I.

"The song glows white on the mountain tonight," sang Elsa. "Not a footprint to be seen. A kingdom of isolation
And it looks like I am the queen
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside!
Couldn't keep it in! Heaven knows I've tried!"

"I've been staring at the edge of the water," Moana sings. "'Long as I can remember, never really knowing why!
I wish I could be the perfect daughter,
But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try!"

"Don't let them," sang Elsa. "Don't let them see."

"Every turn I make, every trail I track," continues Moana as well. "Every path I mack, every road leads back!"

"Be the good girl you always have to be," Elsa sings. "Conceal don't feel don't let it show!"

"To the place where I know I can't go!" Moana sang aloud. "where I long to be!"

"Well now they know!" Elsa sang. "Snow magic in affect. "Let it go! Let it go! "

"See the line where the sky meets the sea?" Moana sings aloud. "It calls me! And no know no one knows-"

"Can't hold it back anymore!" Elsa sings louder. "Let it go! Let it go!"

"How far it goes!" Moana's singing was incredible. "If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me!"

"Turn away and slam the door!" Elsa sang firmly. "I don't care what they're going to say anymore!"

"One day, I'll know, if I go, there's just no telling how far I'll go," continued Moana.

"Let the storm rage on!" Elsa rang out at the same time as Moana. "The cold never bothered me anyway!"

"I know everybody on this island seems so happy on the island," Moana sang quietly. "Everything is by design."

"It's funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small!" Elsa sings like a free bird. "And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all!"

"I know everybody on this island," Moana sang. "has a role on this island!"

"It is time to see what I can do!" Elsa sings.

"So may be I can roll with mine," sang Moana. "I can lead with pride, make us strong!"

"Test the limits and break through!" Elsa continues.

"I'll be satisfied if I play along!" Moana's voice echoes through the room.

"No right, no wrong, no rules for me!"  Elsa starts.

"But the voice inside sings a different song," Moana's tone suddenly changes to concern. "What is wrong with me?"

"I'm free!" Elsa continues. "Let it go! Let it go! I'm one with the wind and sky!"
