About a week later Naruto decided to wake up since the strain that he put on his body to get Kurama back in his mindscape was to much for his body to bear.
Naruto felt shackles around his body as he started to awake from his slumber and looked around to see that he was in a cell.
Soon enough news spread around that he was awake and Tsunade walked in flanked by guards that stopped outside the door.
"Why am I here, Baa-Chan?" Naruto asked as he tried to keep his composure.
"The nine-tailed fox told us that you would burn the village to the ground or become a rogue ninja. We also didn't want you to kill yourself, so the nine-tails said to lock you up and shackle you to a wall, hence why you are here. Tell me Naruto, why?" Tsunade said as tears slowly fell down her face, dripping on the floor.
"Why?" Naruto whispered to himself.
Tsunade watched as his body shimmered, releasing an unknown genjutsu that he had. Tsunade eyes widened when he looked up with a broken gaze with a small hint of anger in them and sadness. She watched as his body was slowly covered in scars. He still had his jumpsuit on, so she couldn't see the more severe scars on his body.
Tsunade caught the hint of a tear as it cascaded down his face slowly, soundlessly hitting the floor.
"Look at me. What do you see?" Naruto blankly asked.
Tsunade was hesitant to answer.
"What do you see!" Naruto yelled. The guards by the door came in the dungeon and were about to bring Tsunade out of the cell when she held up her hand to stop them. They slowly walked back outside of the room, keeping a close watch on Tsunade.
"Naruto, what I see? All I see is a boy that has no family, no feelings, and doesn't know what to do with his life anymore. I see a boy with more scars than a person that has fought in a war should have. I see a child silently crying in the corner. I saw exactly what I wanted to see, even though it was all a lie! I see the person I considered my own grandson bruised and battered on the ground, not doing anything about it because he can't feel the pain! He can't comprehend what is going on anymore because he feels like a puppet! He feels like he isn't in control and not worth a damn thing! Even though, I swear to Kami, you are worth everything to me! I can't stand seeing you here, shackled like an animal that wasn't worth anybody's time, knowing that you are a person like everyone else is! You are a human being that is lost and alone and scared of what might happen in the future if this abuse by the villagers continues! I see a broken heir to a village that was burned down because Konoha couldn't get their shit together and help the people that had helped our village thrive from the beginning!
"I see a boy who never had a real chance to actually live..."Tsunade ends as she collapses on the ground, crying.
Naruto wanted to collapse and hug Tsunade and hold her close to him, the only thing he ever truly had that was still alive.
Naruto broke the chains, collapsing to the floor and doing exactly what he wanted to do. The guards were about to throw Naruto against the wall, but they underestimated the boy. A tornado spiraled around Tsunade and Naruto, keeping them safe from anybody they didn't want to see.
The guards went to get some other people to help them, bringing in rookie 12 and their senseis.
As soon as the rookie 12 got there they watched as the tornado slowly started to spiral out of existence. Once they see Naruto hugging Tsunade they slowly relaxed until the senseis pushed Naruto against the wall away from Tsunade.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" yelled rookie 12 as they stared in shock at the Naruto before them.
What Tsunade failed to notice that the senseis noticed is that Naruto has the Rinnegan and that they feared for Tsunade's safety.
"LET ME GO!" Naruto yelled as his sensei's were pushed back by a random gust of wind. Rookie 12 looked in awe and fear and Naruto slowly trudged towards Tsunade and took her in his arms as he suddenly disappeared, heading towards the Hokage's tower. He ushered all the Anbu out of the room and watched as Tsunade slowly looked up, noticing that she was laying on the floor.
"You know, that place is the place I slept on most nights. Not this floor exactly but the floor back at my apartment. The villager broke my furniture a long time ago and I never got around to getting myself a new bed since I didn't think I deserved one. I would spend so many nights on the cold floor waiting for something to come save me from the hell I had to put up with for my whole life, begging them to just get it over with instead of making me grieve in pain while they stabbed me in my own apartment until I was a bleeding mess that was laying on the floor. The messed up part is that I always had to clean the floor after every beating in my apartment because people won't stop stabbing me from left to right.
"I think that is enough explanation from me. Let us go to sleep, Baa-chan," Naruto said as he smiled a quick real smile and went over to the couch in the room that thankfully folded out into a bed. He brought Tsunade over to the bed and laid her down on the right while he laid all the way to the left side of the bed, slowly drifting to sleep from exhaustion, since he hadn't used that much power in awhile.
