(George's POV)

Reece and I have never had a normal relationship. We go on dates, we basically act like a couple, yet we've never made it official. It was supposed to be some fun, but then we both fell in love. We only told each other that last week. I tried to hide it, because of the complicated circumstances of us being in a band, but I eventually gave in and just told him. Now, we're happy together. Still not official, but more than we were.

"Hey, babe!" I called out from the living room. Only a moment later, I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. He popped his head through the door before entering and smiling at me. "We should go on a date. We haven't been on one in a while."

He nodded and sat on the sofa across from me since I was taking up a whole three-seater. "Sounds good. Dinner?"

"We always have breakfast, lunch or dinner. I was thinking something different... as much as I love food." I laughed. "Something a little more cliche?"

He raised a suggestive eyebrow and smirked a little. "Bowling?"

"You read my mind." I grinned. "After dinner?"

"Yep." He nodded, going to the kitchen for some food.

The rest of the day, I felt happier than I'd been in a while. I was excited, I had something to look forward to, I knew tonight would be fun and I haven't gone out in what feels like forever, so tonight was exactly what I needed.

After dinner, I ran straight up to my bedroom and started throwing clothes everywhere, looking for Reece's favourite shirt of mine. I eventually found it and put it on along with some black jeans. Then I ran downstairs, almost running straight into Reece.

"Sorry." I laughed. "You ready to go?"

"Yep, just let me get my jacket."

I nodded and waited for him, feeling a little nervous surprisingly. I never get nervous for dates with Reece. I mean, we've been on that many, and I'm comfortable around him, we're still best friends.

We finally made it to the bowling alley and I felt my nerves drain away and get replaced with excitement. We got ourselves some of those weird looking shoes, picked our bowling balls, and found a lane to play in.

"You're up Reecey-Bibs." I grinned, shoving the ball into his hands and nudging him towards the lane.

He smiled at my nickname for him and got into position. And first shot, he hit a strike. I didn't appreciate the big smirk he was wearing when he turned around.

"I don't remember you being good at bowling!" I said incredulously, my eyes widening. "How did you do that?"

"It's a natural talent I have." He shrugged, still looking smug.

I narrowed my eyes, accepting his challenge and taking his spot. Concentrating hard, I swung my arm back, aimed for the middle, and threw it. I managed to knock down seven of the pins, leaving three standing which I hit on my next roll. Reece was smirking when I turned around again.

"Oh, you're on Bibby." I glared and shook my head. "Let's make this a little more fun shall we?"

I knew that if he was fully concentrated, he'd smash me. I didn't want that to happen. So, I decided to make this more of a challenge, setting some tasks for us, throwing him off.
