(George's POV)

It was starting to get late and I didn't want to be tired for the interview tomorrow, but Blake was still in the shower. Perks of sharing a hotel room I guess. Lucky for me, Reece was my bed buddy so I didn't have to worry about Blake taking up the whole space like he does. I'd already had a shower and got into bed, so had Reece, but we couldn't turn the lights off until Blake had too. I still closed my eyes though, letting them rest while I waited. It was only a few minutes later that I got uncomfortable and moved to roll over. I quickly snapped my eyes open with a faint gasp when I collided with someone, having forgotten Reece was here too. I'd basically rolled on top of him and his bare chest so I shuffled back and bit my lip.

"Sorry," I whispered, voice too tired to fully function.

He chuckled lightly, looking as tired as me. "All good. Your hair smells nice."

He moved a little closer and pulled my head towards his own, nuzzling his face in my hair and breathing it in. I giggled at the strange feeling.

"You're so weird," I laughed, feeling his breath tickle my forehead.

He pulled back now with a little pout, quietly saying, "Sorry."

I never told him to stop.

"I said it was weird, not uncomfortable." I pulled his head back to where it was, my own resting by his chest.

He shook his head aggressively which tickled, obviously what he was trying to achieve, and I giggled, getting cut short by Blake clearing his throat from the bathroom doorway. I pulled away a little too quick, my heart thumping. Then I mumbled, "goodnight", and rolled the other way, turning off the bedside lamp.

It took a long time to finally fall into a deep sleep but the most frustrating part was having to wake up. I groaned at the sound of the alarm, rubbing my eyes with an intense feeling that I wanted to cry. I guess that's just a standard morning though.

"Boys, wake up." I groaned. It was always me that had to wake the lazy asses up. Reece was never too bad, Blake definitely was.

I heard Reece take in a breath but he only nuzzled his face deeper in the pillow. I felt bad forcing him awake when he looked so content but this was an important interview for the band, live on TV.

"Come on Reece," I shook him lightly. "Don't make me scream at you like I have to with Blake." He still didn't listen so I started hitting his cheek softly, more like a tap than a slap. He only groaned so I didn't stop. That's when he grabbed my hand, interlacing our fingers and holding them close. I felt myself involuntarily blush. Clearly, he had no idea what he was doing. "Reece, that's my hand you're holding and I'm gonna need that back. Wakey wakey."

His eyes opened rather suddenly at that, trying to peel them open tiredly, and he looked at our hands, letting go.

"Sorry," he murmured. "Were you hitting me?"

"Only kind of..." I grinned. Then, I stood up and went for the bathroom, shouting as I went, "You can wake him up this time since you were such an inconvenience and all."

I heard him groan but I didn't really care, I just went and showered anyway. When I walked out of the bathroom I was surprised to see Blake up and eating breakfast that Reece seemed to have made. I slowed my pace, frowning with slight concern.

"What happened? Who died?"

Reece rolled his eyes and I noticed the faint blush crawling up to his cheeks. "No one died, I just thought since we're all so tired and I'm such an inconvenience that I would try lift everyone's moods a little."
