(Reece's POV)

George's family was staying with mine this Christmas so George and I could celebrate together for once. It's now Christmas Eve morning, and I woke up with a huge smile.

"Georgie." I shook him slightly. "Wake up, it's Christmas Eve babyyy!" I cheered.

He stirred a little before opening his eyes, smiling when he saw me. "Good morning love." He giggled.

"I'm gonna make us breakfast while you shower. Today is gonna be so fun!" I grinned.

We haven't even put the tree up yet since George and I wanted to decorate it together and he only arrived yesterday.

Once we'd both showered, thrown on a hoodie and sweatpants, then eaten, we started with the tree.

George had just wrapped tinsel around his neck like a scarf and posed like a model. So naturally, I decided to pull on the ends and tighten it.

"Reece!" He squealed. "You're gonna choke me."

I smirked. "Wouldn't be the first time."

"Shut up!" He whisper yelled, his eyes widening. "Our parents are in the next room."

"Make me."

He just glared and threw a bauble at my head.

"Ouch." I rubbed where it had hit me. "Just put the lights on the tree, you dick."

I heard someone clear their throat from the doorway and I instantly knew I was in trouble.

"Hi dad." I said, turning around with an innocent smile.

"Is there a problem here?" He raised an eyebrow.

I looked at George who was smirking right back at me.

"No, never. George and I love each other." I grinned and wrapped an arm around George's shoulders, pulling him into me.

He just snickered. "Only one of those things is correct babe. You're lucky it's the part about me loving you, hence why the problems don't matter." He tilted his head and smiled at me. Then he turned to dad. "Thanks Jamie, I think we'll be okay."

He laughed.

"Alright, just let me know when he's being a brat and I'll sort him out for you."

"Wow. I like it here already! Maybe I'll move in." George grinned excitedly.

"Hold up..." I grinned back as dad left the room. "Don't get ahead of yourself. It's hard enough to spend one weekend with you, why would I want you around all the time?"

He gasped playfully and I laughed.

"I'm kidding, I'm only kidding. Lets get back to work."

I feel like a hormonal teenage girl with how my mood changes, but only 5 minutes later when we'd almost finished the tree, I got this sudden admiration for George. Everything about him is so perfect, even his flaws.

"All it needs-" he stopped mid sentence because of my staring. "What?"

I just smiled, fondly. "You're so beautiful. I love you."

He furrowed his brow but smiled anyways. "I love you too."

"Anyways," he said after a moment of silence. "All it needs is a star."
