(George's POV)
It's no secret I scare easy, therefore Halloween isn't exactly my favourite holiday. But the boys insisted we do something fun. Blake was pretty insistent on a haunted house and Reece wasn't against the idea so I kinda got roped into it. It was dark, a lot of trick or treaters around, and the vibe in the air was creepy as we were walking to the house. As we got closer, we lost sight of people, there was barely anyone around, and I could feel myself growing more terrified by the second.
"You're not scared already are you George?" Reece smirked.
I wish I could deny it but I jumped at the sound of his voice breaking the silence.
"Can you blame me?" I raised an eyebrow. "Where are we going anyways?"
"An abandoned house not too far from here. Do you want to hear the story behind it?" Blake asked.
"Do I?" I said along with a nervous chuckle.
"Well apparently in the 1980's a little girl-"
"I'm already terrified." I interrupted with a laugh.
They both laughed at me and Blake continued anyways.
"A little girl murdered her whole family while they were sleeping before killing herself. No one's been there since someone kept finding dolls randomly popping up and hearing strange laughs and voices."
I froze in my tracks. "We are not going there! Are you crazy?"
"Oh we'll be fine. She's dead, there's nothing she can do." Blake shrugged and kept walking.
"You're insane!"
"Well are you gonna follow us or stay out here all on your own?" Blake smirked.
"I hate you. I really do."
We walked another 5 minutes before arriving. The place looked old and creepy from the outside, I could only imagine the inside. We all walked up to the front door and Blake opened it.
"Ladies first." He grinned. "Unless you're too scared." He pouted.
I glared at him and walked into the house, trying to prove him wrong. Little did I know that was his plan. Once Reece and I were inside, he closed the door and locked it, smirking at us through the glass window.
"B? B what are you doing?" I said frantically.
"You two," he gestured between Reece and I. "sort your shit out, I'm going to watch movies with my family."
And with that, he walked off.
"What's he talking about?" Reece asked, though there was something in his eyes I couldn't quite put my finger on.
