Chapter Ten: O
The bakery was quite full that day, the light was glistening through the windows and shining onto the tables. The potted plants around the room slightly drizzled with water from recently being watered and staff wandering around with plates of delicious food, placing them on the table in which the light was reflecting onto.
It was a beautiful day, or it would be if Louis didn't have so much on his mind. The sun would have made Louis day, it would have put a smile on his face and made him glow but today? It just made him feel gross and sticky and disgusting. As him and Zayn took a seat at one of the tables he felt himself craving the need for relaxation, everything was making him stressed at this point and he could use anything to keep his mind off of his life.
"I hope you don't mind but I brought one of my friends along" Zayn shrugged and pulled out his phone. Louis frowned and played with the strings on his hoodie, "she's from another school so you won't know her. But she's kinda down lately you know? Needs company"
"Since when do you talk to other people?" Louis frowned, annoyed that their time together was being interrupted by some girl who Louis didn't even know.
"We met a few weeks ago actually, been talking online. Is that okay? That she joins us?" Zayn asked, hope in his eyes that Louis could just not say no to.
" 'S fine" Louis shrugged and looked around the bakery in hopes to find Harry, no such luck. Even though his mind seemed to drift alot to Harry, and even though it bothered him there was still a slight disappointment when he wasn't around and even the smallest smile appeared on Louis face when he was.
"Here she comes!" Zayn cheered and Louis looked up to see a blonde girl strut over to the table, a warm smile placed on her soft features, "Hey GiGi"
"Hey Zayn! You must be Louis" She grinned and extended her hand for him to shake. Louis shook her hand and gave her a slight nod before she sat down next to Zayn. Louis could feel it already, the loneliness that would accompany him on this trip out. His day ruined by his best friend completely excluding him.
As the two of them began to chat Louis looked around the room once more, hoping that Harry would have suddenly appeared in the room. No such luck though. Only the other staff roamed the room with dishes in their hand. It seemed to Louis that maybe he wouldn't see the curly haired boy that day when a sound of a bell dimed and he walked in.
Looking around the room Harry had his hands in his pockets, he wasn't wearing his uniform that day signifying that it was his day off. As their eyes met Louis' breath came to a halt, his green eyes melting into his. Then he began to walk over, making Louis feel as if his whole stomach was going to explode. Why did he feel this way? Why was Harry doing this to him?
"Hello Louis" Harry greeted and Louis stared up at him shocked at the action. Zayn was looking at the two of them, probably wondering why Harry, who he had only briefly met, was standing at their table starting a conversation with Louis.
"Hey Harry" Louis grinned and moved over a bit, patting the seat next to him without even thinking, "wanna sit?"
"If that's alright with you" Harry nervously looked down and Louis nodded, and patted the seat once more. Watching as Harry sat down, his presence making Louis feel warm, not the sticky warm that was looming in the air, but a warm that made him feel nice.
"Don't think we've met properly, I'm Zayn" Zayn introduced and smiled at Harry who bashfully gave a grin back, Louis watched as the two of them exchanged greetings, his eyes focused onto Harrys features as he smiled.
"What are you thinking of getting?" Harry asked Louis, turning to him. It was all like it was the last time, the light shining onto him in such an angelic way, a way that made Louis at loss of words, a way that only harry could make him feel for whatever reason.
"What do you suggest" Louis asked, not taking his eyes off of Harry's green ones. Harry bit his lip and looked down at the menu, examining all the choices.
"If I'm being completely honest I would suggest the pancakes. But I do have a sweet tooth" Harry laughed and looked back up at Louis, dimple prominent in his perfect skin.
"I'll get the pancakes then, what about you?" He asked politely. The truth was he didn't even like pancakes that much, sure he'd eat them but it wouldn't be his first choice. He heard Zayn and GiGi laughing in the background at whatever they were talking about but their voices seemed to be muffled, his attention only on the boy in front of him.
"I'll probably get the pancakes too! They look really good" Harry nodded and closed the menu.
"How long have you been working here for?" Louis asked, wanting to know more about him, anything, he didn't care what.
"For about a year now, I grew up with these people pretty much. I dunno it's really nice working here. Do you have a job of some sort?" Harry tilted his head at Louis.
"Music" Louis told him without hesitation, he never really told anybody his secret passion but here yet again harry was an exception, "I sing, I have a YouTube channel although it's not very successful"
"You sing? That's amazing" Harry's eyes lit up, and then turned around as the waiter came up to them, harry quickly turned around whispering some final words to him, "you should send me your YouTube... if you're comfortable"
"Are you ready to order today?" The waiter asked. As the four of them ordered their food Louis grabbed his phone, going onto Instagram and clicking on his DMs where they last spoke. Sending him the name of his YouTube.
"There I sent it... don't judge too hard okay?" Louis asked nervously, he wouldn't want harry out of anybody to judge his music or think he was horrible, it would be devastating.
"I'm sure you sound wonderful Louis" Harry gave Louis a warm smile.

As the four of them walked out of the bakery Louis felt his heart crush as he realised it was their goodbyes, GiGi had dragged Zayn away to talk about something leaving the two of them standing their alone. It took everything Louis had not to ask him about the party, if he remembered the events, if he was ashamed. But he refrained himself, glad he did so.
"So I guess this is goodbye for now" Louis chuckled, looking down at Harry who seemed to be staring at Louis intently.
"I guess" Harry shrugged and bit his lip, "I guess maybe we could do it again sometime, if you want to of course"
"Yeah, that sounds lovely" Louis smiled. There was a moment of silence after that, the staring that occurred between them made Louis knees weak and his hands seemed to shake in his hoodie pockets. He seemed to have tunnel vision when it came to Harry, everything else around him a blur as the beautiful angel in front of him clear as ever, fogging up any other thoughts of his.
"I'll see you later Lou" Harry smiled and turned around, leaving Louis feeling confused and his stomach fluttery. Lou. Lou, Lou, Lou. For some reason the nickname echoing in his head for what seemed like forever until he turned his attention to Zayn, who was talking to GiGi about something, the two of them not laughing like they were before.
Louis walked up to them slowly, their heads snapping as they saw him approach. Giving them a small grin Zayn held up one finger to signify that Louis stay back for a moment longer, not wanting to disobey he stayed back, curious as to what the pair was talking about.
Curiousity, seemed to be getting the best of him lately.
I dunno i feel like this chapter is kinda short? I'll make the next one longer for you all.
