Chapter 21: E

"Harry will be out in a second" Gemma told him as she sat on the couch, Louis nodded and bit his lip, staring at his nails which the polish was coming off, the beautiful pinks and black only being splotches. Still looking at his nails he saw a pair of black shoes walking towards him, looking up at him his breath hitched.

"I wanted to try something new... am i overdressed? You said we were going somewhere fancy so i didn't want to under dress" Harry rambled but Louis was barely listening, his eyes focused on Harry. He always thought he was absolutely stunning but never did he thinks he could somehow get any more beautiful- he was truly full of surprises, "Louis?"

"Fuck" Louis said under his breath, "You look perfect Harry"

"You think so?" Harry asked looking at Louis and he nodded confidently walking up to him and grabbing his waist looking into his green eyes.

"You're beautiful Harry." He told him and Harry blushed, pushing him off of Harry and motioning to his sister who was watching supernatural on the couch. Louis took a step closer and cupped his cheek with his hand once more, "She isn't watching."

"In the car Lou" Harry told him and looked into Louis eyes. Nodding he took the smaller boys hand and left the room, his heart racing as they went outside of his house and into the cold breeze. Zayn and Gigi were in the front of the car laughing, hands intertwined between them, waiting as the two of them slipped themselves into the car.

"You two took your time" Zayn laughed and Louis laughed along, strapping his seat belt in and looking over towards Harry who sat in the middle seat, his head leaning on his shoulder.

"Oops"

"While you two lovebirds get to cuddle I'm stuck here driving!" Zayn chuckled and started the car, hand still holding onto Gigi.

"Where are we going Zayn?" Gigi asked and stared out the window.

"Somewhere fancy" Louis butted in and kissed the top of Harry's head.

"We know that Lou but where?" Harry asked, taking his head off of Louis shoulder, looking up at him in the eyes. Louis was entranced by the stare, wanting to look into his boyfriends eyes forever, "Don't avoid the question! I'm dying over here!"

"Well you'll have to hold on just a little bit longer Harry, I may be a lot of things but i'm not a spoiler! Hang in there buddy"

"Don't 'hang in there buddy' me, I'm not your buddy" Harry pouted and crossed his arms in disappointment, Louis patting his shoulder gently before pulling into the building. A confused look was sprawled across his face as he looked up at the abandoned building, "What is this?"

"You guys are going to murder us aren't you?" Gigi laughed as Zayn took her hand. Louis smiled as he felt Harry inch closer to him, "Or are we going to meet your drug dealers?"

"Drugs are bad G, and just wait and see... i promise you'll love it" Zayn comforted her.

As the four of them walked into the building he felt Harry hold his hand, Louis squeezing it in reassurance. The roof was cracked and the doorways were broken, every step they took the floors seemed to creak and all Louis wanted to do was get to their destination. As they stood in front of the stairs Louis hesitated before turning to Harry who looked wary.

"They creak lots, they have holes in the floor so be careful but i promise they're stable, Zayn and i do this plenty of times... just trust me on this" Louis told him and Harry nodded, the two of them walked up the stairs hand in hand to the second floor of the building, Harry looking more nervous, "You okay baby?"
