I'm proud of you

"So...what do you want to talk about?" Alec asked when they were a few meters away from Magnus and Izzy. Robert looked in the distance and somehow this mad Alec a little nervous. "I just wanted to talk with you...and I just wanted you to know that I'm really proud of you. You know that, right?" Robert replied with a slight smile and Alec thought for a few seconds about it. "I uhm...you say it a lot but it was hard for me to believe." Alec answered because he wanted to be honest with his dad and Robert really appriciated that. "I hope you can believe me one day because I'm honest about it. I love all my children the same but you are the one I'm the proudest off because you fight so hard." Robert really wanted to make sure all his children knew how much they meant to him and he was proud of all of them but it was different with Alec. "Thanks, Dad...now that we are talking about it...I heard you and you are so wrong about it." Alec answered causing Robert to frown and he stopped to walk looking at his son pretty confused. "What do you mean?" Robert asked and Alec turned around to face his dad. "You didn't fail...you are a great dad and honestly I have no idea what I would have done without you. I love you, Dad and I don't want you to think about it like that. What happened to me was no ones fault expect Williams...it was always only his fault." Alec answered feeling relieved to be abel to say this and actually beliving his own words. In the past weeks he had learned a lot and he understood things better. He realized that he couldn't blame himself for what happened and no one else should blame themself because William was a monster. The only one who was to blame was he and he was gone. Time doesn't heal wounds but it makes the pain less and even it was hard Alec wanted to move on as much as he could. "I love you too, Son." Robert smiled and he couldn't be happier after hearing tha from his son. He was so thankful that Magnus helped him so much and he was really happy to see how his son was happy. "Do...do you think Magnus is the right one?" Robert asked a little hesitantly because he didn't want to ask things Alec was uncomfortable with but Alec smiled at him. "I hope so...well actually I'm 100% sure he is." Alec answered but he wasn't looking at his dad instead he was smiling at Magnus who was talking with Izzy. Magnus soon felt Alecs eyes on him and looked at them from the distance. Magnus didn't know how he could feel Alec was looking at him even he was so far away but he sensed it. Magnus smiled at Alec even winking at him and Alecs cheeked got red.  "I'm really happy for you, Alec. He is a really nice guy and I'm sure he treats you right." Robert said with a warm smile and ignored the reddness in Alecs face because he knew why he blushed. "But do me a favour...talk with me before you adopt a child." Robert chuckled and Alec had to laugh too because he knew why Robert said that. Jace told them a few days ago that Clary was pragnent and to be honest it was a little shock at first but Robert knew his son could handel it with the support they had from both parents. "No worries, Dad. I think Magnus and I want to enjoy a few years alone together." Alec answered being glad he could talk with his dad about everything and Robert nodded. "Let's go back...it's getting quiet late." Robert suggested and Alec agreed so they walked back to the car. "Done?" Magnus asked with a soft smile and Alec nodded with a content smile. "Dad, I'll stay over at Magnus place but we will be home for the dinner tomorrow." Alec explained when they wanted to leave and Izzy wiggled her eyebrows earning a scowl from her brother. "Yeah that's fine. Have a good night you two." They all said their goodbyes and Alec got inside the back of the the black SUV together with Magnus. Magnus had a meeting with Mark last wednesday and Mark explained he would step a bit more back from now one. He was still a part of Magnus securityteam but he wasn't leading it anymore because that was Noahs job now.  "Good evening, Mr. Bane and Mr. Lightwood." Daniel became their driver and Alec found himself getting more comfortable with the lifestyle of Magnus. "Good evening, Daniel." Magnus greeted back with a light smile before he placed his hand on Alecs inner thigh and Alec laid his head down on Magnus shoulder. "I and Izzy talked about the party next month...we thought it should be on the day after the show. Also I have planned a little surprise for you but you don't have to ask about it. I won't tell you and your adorable puppy eyes won't help you this time." Magnus explained and also chuckled but he was really serious about the surprise part. "Mh...why do you tell me then that you have a surprise? That's mean!" Alec grumbled and Magnus laughed before Alec nuzzled with his nose against the skin on Magnus neck. "It's something you can look forward too." Magnus answered and Alec pulled his head back smiling shyly at him. "Since I have you I look forward to everyday." Alec answered not giving a damn actually that Daniel could hear them...//tbc ohhh a Surprise? What could it be🤔🤔💕💕💕💕❤🙈
