Napping Together

They just stood in the middle of their bedroom hugging each other tightly and breathing in the scent of the other one. Hell, how Alec missed this calming scent of sandlewood and the sweet hint of vanilla. Alec could only describe his home with a heart beat and his home was breathing because home wasn't a place anymore. The day he met Magnus home became a person and wherever Magnus was there would be his home. Magnus thanked the angel that Alec was back in his arms because with Alec life came into his heart again. Magnus gave up that he would find his true love in this messed up world but then he met Alec. He never thought that his feelings could ever be so strong for a person but here was proving himself wrong. Magnus heard how a big yawn left Alecs lips and a slight smile spread over his lips before he gently pulled back from the hug. "Let's take a little nap, shall we?" Magnus asked caressing Alecs cheeks whos heart picked up the pace when he looked in Magnus brown eyes. "No...I need to tell you that wh..." "We have all time in the world now, Sunshine. You are tired and the most important thing is that I have you back so sleep first and then we can talk." Magnus hushed Alec with a finger pressed agains his lips and Alec knew he was right. He couldn't say how thankful he was for having Magnus and how understanding he was. He took him back even Alec hurt him so much and he loved him like he never experienced the pain of a heartbreak. There was so much Alec wanted to thank Magnus for but the most important thing Magnus ever did was giving Alec his will to live again and there wasn't an thank you in the world that would be enough. Magnus led Alec to their bed smiling when he realized that from now on Alec would always be there. He would be there when he fell asleep and when he woke up in the next morning. Laying down Alec quickly snuggled closer to Magnus needing to feel his warmth and Magnus wrapped his arms around him. Alec laid his head down on Magnus chest just right above his heart and listened to the steady beat while he placed on hand over Magnus lower stomach. Alec really knew now to cherish moments like these because he saw now how fast they could leave and he would do everything in his power to make this special love between them last forever. Magnus was softly running his fingers through Alecs hairs just like Alec rememberd it and he placed a soft kiss on the top of Alecs head. Alec was really tired and it didn't take long for his eyes to flutter under Magnus tender touchs but before he would let himself fall in a comforting sleep he wanted to make sure of one thing. "Magnus?" Alec asked with a sleepy voice trying his best to stay a few more seconds and a soft hum of Magnus echoed in the room. "You're still gonna be here when I wake up, right?" Alec asked clearly a hint of worry in his voice but the biggest part was tiredness and Magnus slightly tightened his around Alec. "Of course, Baby. From now one I'll always be there when you wake up." Magnus answered knowing that this time he could keep that promise for sure and Alec was consumed by sleep but he fell asleep with a smile on his lips. Magnus held Alec in his arms for more than 20 minutes never stopping to caress his hair or placing soft kisses on the top of his head every once in a while. When Magnus was 100% sure Alec was tight asleep and wouldn't wake up he carefully got up. Alec moved a little around until he wrapped his arms around Magnus pillow and hugged it closely to his body. A soft chuckle left Magnus lips before he quietly walked out of the room and down to his kitchen. He saw that Alec had a little lack of strength so he thought cooking Alecs favorite food would help. Magnus was so busy with cooking that he got lost in time and before he knew an hour passed by. When everything was done he went back upstairs watching Alec in his sleep from the doorway and he smiled. Alec looked peaceful in his sleep and he was glad about it because Alec deserved peace. Alec slowly woke up a little scared to open his eyes because what if he opened them and he was in his bed. What if he woke up and just dreamed the last hours and Magnus was still gone. Waiting more wouldn't change anything so Alec carefully blinked his eyes open feeling the wave of relief washing over him as he recognized Magnus bedroom. Even better... his heart spreaded happiness through his whole body as he realized this wasn't only Magnus bedroom but also his. It was THEIRS. Alec was so happy that a little sob left his lips and tears rolled down his cheeks. "Alexander." Magnus got worried and hurried over to him sitting down on the edge of the bed. "Hei...don't cry...everything is alright." Magnus was concerned that Alec had a nightmare but actually Alec had the most beautiful dream and this dream was reality. "I know...I'm just so happy...to be here...with you." Alec sniffed and whipped his tears away feeling a little silly for being emotional but he knew Magnus would never judge him. Magnus smiled softly at him before he hugged his Alexander gently...// Now it would be time for a good comforting and trusting conversation? Who's in for that?❤️❤️❤️❤️
