Light of my life

Alec woke up while feeling gentle touches in his face and a soft voice whispering words of comfort in his words. First Alec was happy thinking it was a morning like all the others he woke up next to the person he loved but then his mind woke up. Alecs heart started to raise again and he sat up gasping loudly. "Alexander...calm down...please." Magnus was more than relieved Alec finally woke up but he was still worried because Alec looked so broken. Alec slightly turned his head to face Magnus and he looked in Magnus brown eyes that usually calmed him down. "It's not William...it's not him. It's Jackson...his brother, you remember him?" Magnus wasn't really sure if Alecs mind was in a state to understand it but he had to try it at least. Alec had to know the truth so he wouldn't be too scared anymore but the look in Alecs eyes hurt. Magnus could see in Alecs eyes how a world broke down on him and the pain in them felt like someone was stabbing him. Alec closed  his eyes again for a few seconds because he couldn't bare to look in Magnus eyes for some reasons and totally silence filled the room. Magnus hand was resting on the top of Alecs but Alec pulled his hand back sendig a pang right to Magnus heart. "Alexander...please look at me." Magnus whispered his voice cracking and Alec opened his eyes after a few more seconds. Alec had goosebumps all over his body and he was shaking even he tried not to but the more he tried  not to shake he did it more. "I'm sorry..." Alec breathed out after he didn't say anything for a pretty long moment and his voice sounded so tired. Magnus frowned because he had no idea why Alec was sorry and he carefully scooted closer to him. Alec needed a few minutes to get in his head that this man wasn't William but he remembered Jackson. He knew Jackson was Williams younger brother  and Jackson was only a year younger than William so it was possible this was Jackson. After Alec processed that for a few seconds he felt how guilt shot through his body. "Alexander,  there is nothing you have to apologize for. He just showed up like nothing and  it scared you which is understandable." Magnus answered softly and carefully placed a hand on Alecs thigh a little worried Alec wouldn't want his touches but Alec was actually craving for them. He wanted Magnus strong arms around him because in Magnus arms he always felt save and he wanted nothing more than to feel save right now. "But I thought you broke your promise...I should have known that you would never do that." Alec sniffed on the edge of breaking down in tears and it hurt him to look at Magnus but Magnus only smiled weakly at him. "You had all right to think like that. Who could have known his brother shows up and looks exact the same." Magnus said hoping this would relieve Alec a little at least and Alec nodded lightly. Magnus watched Alec for a few seconds when he saw how Alecs lower lip started to quiver and tears started to run down his pale cheeks again. "I was so scared." Alec sobbed out and Magnus heart broke into thousand pieces. He hated that the person he loved the most had to suffer so much and he hated that he couldn't take the pain. "I know." Magnus answered with a cracking voice and really carefully wrapped his arms around his boyfriend. Alec hugged him back in a heartbeat and buried his face in the gap between Magnus shoulder and neck. Magnus felt how the cold tears dropped on his skin and he just caressed Alecs back while he let him cry in his shoulder. "I'm here...as long as I'm here no one will ever hurt you again, my Sunshine. You are the light of my life and I'm not gonna let anyone take the light you carry inside of you away from me." Magnus wanted Alec to smile and be happy but he knew he couldn't always get what he wanted. With good moments sad and painful moments came along but in moments like these they could count on each other. In Moments like these their love was stronger than ever and their relationship took every wave even it was just a little one. They shared happiness and pain but how long would it last?...//tbc
