Chapter Fourteen

I sprint. I can hear the train roaring. By now, I can see the lights inside it glowing and I can see it inching farther to where I won't be able to jump onto it because it will have gone too far. I push myself to just run. Nothing else matters; I have to be Dauntless...again. I am only about 10 feet away now. As I'm getting closer and closer I see Four peer out to shut the door. He looks around and sees me. He raises his eyebrows. But... Is it my imagination or does he smile like he's happy to see me, happy that I'm going to make it? I think he is. And you know what, I'm happy to see him too. Because I think I love him.
