Missing Memories (Tzuyu X TWICE)

Chapter 2

3rd Person POV

The members of TWICE, except for Tzuyu, returned to the dorms shortly after Tzuyu's shocking statement. There was an eerie silence in the dorms that night as they ate dinner in silence. The news of Tzuyu's amnesia came as a major shock to the girls.

Tzuyu was cleared for discharge from the hospital the next day. She was still disoriented from her injuries and required assistance moving around. Jihyo, being the group's leader, volunteered to go help Tzuyu back to the dorms.

The members that remained at the dorm sat around the living room watching movies on the television. The movie only served as background white noise as the members were busy with their thoughts. They knew that a lot was going to change as Tzuyu recovered from her injuries.

The sound of the door opening snapped the members out of their thoughts. They jumped up and ran to the door to see Jihyo leading Tzuyu into the dorms. The members wanted to jump at Tzuyu for a hug, but they restrained themselves in fear that Tzuyu would react negatively to the action.

"Okay Tzuyu, stay here as I go get water for your medicine," Jihyo commanded as she led Tzuyu to the living room.

"Okay unnie," Tzuyu replied with a nod as she sat tensely on the couch.

Jihyo smiled as she went off to the kitchen to get a glass of water for Tzuyu. She returned to the living room to find the other members sitting on the floor around the couch that Tzuyu was sitting on. Jihyo looked at them confused.

"What are you girls doing?" Jihyo asked.

"We are helping Tzuyu remember our names," Nayeon responded for the group while the other girls nodded in agreement.

Jihyo chuckled before giving Tzuyu the glass of water and medicine. Tzuyu gave a small smile in appreciation before taking the glass of water and medicine from Jihyo. She took the medicine and returned the empty glass of water to Jihyo.

Jihyo took the now empty glass of water to the kitchen before returning to the living room. The eerie atmosphere from last night had completely disappeared. She sat down in the empty space between Nayeon and Jeongyeon.

"Tzuyu-ah, I am your pretty unnie, Im Nayeon," Nayeon said in a cheery voice.

"I am your unnie Jeongyeon the Great," Jeongyeon said next.

"What is with that name?" Nayeon asked.

"Oh, I thought we were making up fake nicknames for ourselves," Jeongyeon teased.

The girls burst out in laughter as Nayeon pouted at being teased by Jeongyeon. The laughter lasted for a minute and even Tzuyu showed a bit of emotion. Nayeon reached over and punched Jeongyeon in the arm before the girls continued their introduction.

"I am the dancing queen, the jokbal manic, made in Japan: Momo unnie," Momo continued the nickname trend.

"I am the queen of flirting and aegyo: Sana unnie," Sana winked at Tzuyu, sending a shiver down the younger girl.

"I guess I will join the game too. I am God Jihyo... unnie," Jihyo said.

"I am Mina unnie," Mina said without giving herself a nickname.

"Ehhh? Minari, you aren't continuing the game?" Sana asked.

"No," Mina replied shortly.

"Anyways, I am the tofu, the queen of extra: Dahyun unnie," Dahyun said as she stood up and stroke a pose.

"Ignoring her. I am your friend, the cub of twice, also your unnie: Chaeyoung," Chaeyoung said.

Tzuyu nodded her head as she tried to remember the girls' names. She was deep in thought as she tried to understand everything the girls were saying. A finger suddenly came up as Tzuyu pointed at herself.

"So that makes me the maknae?" Tzuyu asked.

"That's right. You're our precious maknae that we adore," Sana replied.

"What about me?" Chaeyoung asked as she pouted.

"It's okay Chaeng; I adore you," Mina said as she patted Chaeyoung on the head, causing the younger girl to blush.

Tzuyu suddenly remembered something, "MiChaeng..." the girls turned to look at her.

"What did you just say?" Jeongyeon asked.

"MiChaeng. I don't know why, but it suddenly popped up in my head," Tzuyu said as she furrowed her eyebrows.

"That is what ONCE calls the Mina and Chaeyoung ship," Momo explained.

Tzuyu nodded in understanding and the conversation continued. The girls talked about random things so that Tzuyu could slowly remember some things. The tension in Tzuyu's body disappeared as she became more comfortable around the girls.

Time went by in a flash as dinner time arrived without the girls realizing. There were no ingredients in the refrigerator as the members had not expected to return to the dorm for another few days, so the girls opted to order food to the dorms.

The food arrived and the girls started eating. Jokbal was ordered among the other Korean dishes that the girls liked. Momo dug in before everyone was present, causing Jihyo to scold the older girl. The others laughed while Tzuyu remained quiet, observing everything.

The girls talked as they ate dinner. Tzuyu did not have much of an appetite at the time and watched as the girls ate. She waited until the girls started to finish before eating what was left over. The other girls chuckled at the action.

The dinner ended with all the leftovers being finished by Tzuyu. Jihyo ordered Tzuyu to go rest under the doctor's orders. This left the rest of the girls to clean up after the dinner.

The girls returned to the living room once they finished the cleanup. They gave each other glances and knowing nods before sitting in a circle on the floor. They turned off all the lights except for one that illuminated the middle of the circle.

The girls could not see each other clearly and could only see an outline due to the dim lighting. The girls sat in silence for a few minutes. They all contemplated what to say.

The owl figure coughed, gaining the attention of the other figures, "I guess I will start."

"We will have to make some changes to adapt to Tzuyu's recovery, but more importantly..." the owl paused to contemplate how to word her next phrase, "we all know that Tzuyu was dating one of us."

The owl waited for a response, "Does anyone want to come forward?" no one said anything.

"I have an idea," the bunny figure spoke up, "How about we all take turns courting her?"

"What kind of idea is that?" the ostrich figure asked.

"I think it's a good idea," the squirrel figure spoke up.

"So, we are trying to make Tzuyu fall for us?" the raccoon asked.

"Exactly," the bunny replied.

"I get to go on a date with Tzuyu?!" the eagle and tiger cub exclaimed at the same time.

"She should recover some of her memories from this," the penguin figure stated calmly, trying to hide her excitement.

"We will take turns courting Tzuyu. No one is allowed to interfere with the current person's attempt, okay?" the owl asked, gaining a hum of approval.

"Now who will go first?"

The girls were hesitant to step forward. All except for one girl.

The ostrich stood up and stepped into the middle of the circle, revealing herself to be Jeongyeon, "I will."

A/N: Hello everyone! I have finally decided to write another chapter. Tzuyu has amnesia, and it has been revealed that she was dating one of the girls before the accident. The girls are now going to try to court Tzuyu, and Jeongyeon is going first but was she the one dating Tzuyu? You will have to wait to find out... hopefully not too long of a wait.
