Missing Memories (Tzuyu X TWICE)

Chapter 16

3rd Person POV

Tzuyu woke up the next morning to silence within the dorm. She grabbed her phone from her side table and checked the time. Her eyes widened when she realized that it was lunch time.

Tzuyu jumped out of bed and completed her morning routine before walking out into the dining room. There was no one in sight. All she could see was a plate of kimbap sitting on the dining table with a note beside it.

We wanted to wake you up to eat breakfast with us, but we couldn't bear to do it after seeing how cute you were while you slept. We have schedules after breakfast and won't be back until dinner, so we won't be around for lunch. Enjoy these kimbap we made for you and take it easy.

A smile formed on Tzuyu's lips as she placed the note down. Tzuyu looked at the plate of kimbap. There were seven pieces, each having a slightly different look. It was clear that each of her unnies made her a piece.

Tzuyu's eyebrows furrowed when she realized that she had eight unnies. She ignored what that could mean and sat down in a chair and began to eat the kimbap. The plate was cleaned within a minute due to Tzuyu's hunger.

Tzuyu pushed the plate forward slightly before placing her elbows on the table and resting her chin on her hands. She started to zone out as her thoughts took over her consciousness. The date with Nayeon brought many thoughts and questions.

Tzuyu enjoyed the date with Nayeon. A wide smile subconsciously formed on Tzuyu's lips when she thought about all of the dogs she played with. She could still remember how happy she felt at that time, but there was the lingering question about what happened after they left the cafe: why did Nayeon seduce her and why did she begin to like it?

Tzuyu thought of bringing this up with Jihyo as she was the only one who she could ask for advice, but she then remembered what happened when Jihyo found out about what Jeongyeon did and decided that it would be for the best if Jihyo never found out. She considered dropping her first question and just asking Jihyo about the second question but then realized that she would have to explain what happened in the first place. Tzuyu let out a sigh as she realized that she could never bring up the topic without risking Nayeon's life.

Tzuyu closed her eyes as she let her thoughts dissipate and let the calmness of the dorm ease her body. She was about to slip into dreamland when a melodic sound snapped her back to reality. Tzuyu looked around the room confused as she believed she was alone in the dorm.

A minute passed by and not another sound was heard. Tzuyu thought that it was a figment of her imagination and went back to resting her chin on her hands. Her consciousness started to slip back into dreamland when another melodic sound echoed in the dorm.

Tzuyu jumped out of the chair and looked around the room again. The melodic sound continued this time, giving Tzuyu a hint to where the sound was coming from. Tzuyu slowly walked in the direction of the sound.

The melodic sound was soothing to hear. It was gentle and calm yet strong at the same time. Tzuyu could feel her heart rate slow into a calm pattern.

Tzuyu suddenly stopped walking and closed her eyes. She let the effects of the melodic sound take over her body. The sound entered her ears and tickled her heart.

Tzuyu opened her eyes and clutched her head in pain as a memory suddenly flashed before her eyes. The pain lasted longer than the previous times, but the melodic song soothed the pain. The pain subsided after a minute.

Tzuyu let out a sigh of relief before continuing to walk towards the source of the melodic sound. She stopped in front of a door that was slightly ajar. She peeked into the room and was surprised to see Dahyun sitting in front of a keyboard.
