Missing Memories (Tzuyu X TWICE)

Chapter 30

3rd Person POV

A Few Hours Later

The normal members of TWICE's meeting circle convened in the dorm living room once again. They sat in their regular circle with all the lights on. At this point, turning off the lights served no purpose.

The 2Yeon and DahMo couples sat together. Chaeyoung sat beside the DahMo couple, while Sana sat beside her with Mina on the other side of Sana. The three non-officially taken girls sat in silence while the couples were having their own conversations.

Mina had her head hung low, and her expression showed evident sadness while Sana had a large smile on her face. Chaeyoung had mixed feelings about the two older girls' expressions and did not know how to feel about it. She was both hopeful and fearful about the outcome that she was about to hear.

Chaeyoung let out a fake cough to get everyone's attention, "Should we get this meeting started?"

Nayeon nodded in agreement, "Yes, we should."

The two couples then ended their individual conversations and focused on the meeting at hand. Jeongyeon was the first to speak, "Who would like to speak first?"

Sana turned towards Mina and put a hand on the younger girl's back, "Do you want to start?"

Mina looked up towards Sana and was greeted by the older girl's encouraging smile. She meekly nodded before letting out a sigh, "Okay."

Mina started the retelling of the date with Tzuyu by starting with breakfast. The breakfast was horrible due to the bickering between Sana and Mina, but Tzuyu still pretended that it was good. Mina then moved on to discuss how they went to the swimming pool and how she taught Tzuyu to swim. She then moved on to the mall competition where Sana and her bought Tzuyu plushies but Tzuyu bought her own plushie that she liked better. The other members were proud that Sana and Mina were able to put aside their bickering slightly to let Tzuyu have a good time.

"And then we went to the club and Tzuyu got kidnaped by Elkie..." Mina trailed off before her eyes widened in realization, "IMeanThatIsNotWhatHappened!"

Everyone else in the circle was left with their jaws dropping at the revelation that Mina made. Sana could not help but facepalm at how Mina casually threw them under the bus without realizing it. Mina looked around the circle while trying to think of a way to get them out of the situation.

"You let WHAT happened to Tzuyu?!" Momo yelled as she stood up, anger evidently showing on her face.

Dahyun stood up and wrapped her arms around Momo to calm her girlfriend down, "It's okay, Momo. Getting angry won't help the situation," she was successful in getting Momo to calm down.

Momo sat down but Dahyun remained standing and put her hands on her waist in a scolding manner, "Explain yourselves," Dahyun's tone caused Sana and Mina to gulp, "You said that you two rented a hotel room because you didn't want to bother us because of how late and how far you three ended up going; and that the only reason you came back was because you wanted to prepare a picnic for Tzuyu."

Sana put her hands up in a defensive manner, "Okay, I admit, we messed up. Hard. Minari and I got drunk at the club. The next thing we knew, it was morning and we were in a hotel room without Tzuyu. All we were left with was a message that whoever brought us there saw Tzuyu leaving with CLC members."

Sana wiped off the sweat that was forming on her forehead before continuing, "We knew that Tzuyu was safe, so we decided to continue with our plan with the picnic. We ended up finding Tzuyu in the park with Elkie who ran off. We then went off on our picnic."

Dahyun was not fully satisfied with Sana's answer but sat down either way. Jeongyeon raised her hand while rubbing her forehead with her other hand, "Hold up. This doesn't make sense. Why would Tzuyu just leave you two like that?"

"I think she may have been drunk as well..." Mina replied in a soft voice.

Nayeon shot up with a surprised face, "You let Tzuyu drink?! Dear lord. If Jihyo finds out, you two are dead."

"We don't know if Tzuyu was actually drunk! We are just assuming things... I hope..." Sana tried to rationalize what could have happened but realized she was most certainly wrong.

Jeongyeon let out a sigh as she pulled Nayeon back down, "Putting that aside, what happened during the picnic?"

Mina let out a sigh before continuing, "We had our picnic after looking at cherry blossoms. Tzuyu fell asleep while Sana and I were cleaning up. She then woke up and..." she then covered her face with her hands, "She rejected me."

Mina started sobbing. Everyone else in the circle had an empathetic look for her. Chaeyoung could not help herself and instantly rushed over to Mina's side and pulled the older girl into a hug. Mina hid herself in Chaeyoung's warmth and continued to cry.

"MiChaeng," 2Yeon and DahMo whispered at the same time while smiling.

Sana let out a sigh, catching everyone's attention, before smiling, "I was also rejected by Tzuyu."

Everyone was surprised by Sana's revelation, but Mina was the most surprised, "What? How? You were all smiley too. This doesn't make sense."

"I already knew that she would reject all of us," Sana replied matter-of-factly.

"What do you mean?" Nayeon asked, confused by Sana's statement.

"I already knew that she would reject all of us?" Sana repeated her statement in a questioning manner.

Jeongyeon rubbed her forehead once again while letting out a heavy sigh, "She meant how did you know you know that Tzuyu would reject all of us."

Sana lips formed an 'o' shape, "Oh, I know who Tzuyu was dating before the accident."

"Wait!" Momo interjected, "You know who Tzuyu was dating?"

Sana nodded her head, "Yeah?" she replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Why didn't you tell us then?" Dahyun asked, curious about the answer.

"Honestly, I was going to; but then I talked to her and we agreed not to tell anyone," Sana replied.

"Why wouldn't she want us to know?" Momo asked, now increasingly interested on who Tzuyu was dating.

Sana shrugged, "She didn't really tell me why. She said that she had her own reasons, so I respected that."

"But how do you know who she is?" Mina asked the important question.

"I accidentally walked in on Tzuyu and---" Sana started explaining but was suddenly interrupted by Nayeon.

"Wait!" Nayeon suddenly exclaimed, "There's only one of us left, right? Is that she who I think it is?" she asked.

Sana let out a playful sigh before continuing, "Well you see..." she trailed off.

A/N: Hello everyone! I am back with an update! I can't believe that we are near the end of this story. Not going to lie, my SaTzu heart hurts from this chapter. Sana was about to reveal who she is, but Nayeon just had to interrupt. I guess we will find out in the final chapter (+ maybe an Epilogue). P.S. I did consider writing an April Fool's Day chapter, but I decided against it.
