Missing Memories (Tzuyu X TWICE)

Chapter 19

3rd Person POV

The next morning quickly came. Sunlight shone into Dahyun's room, disturbing Tzuyu in her sleep. She stirred slightly before slowly cracking her eyes open. It took a few moments before her eyes focused on her surroundings.

Tzuyu turned around on the bed when she realized that it was morning time. Much to her surprise, the spot next to her was empty. She still remembered that she had fallen asleep while watching a movie in Dahyun's room with the older girl.

"Where did she go?" Tzuyu asked aloud.

Tzuyu got out of Dahyun's bed and went to the washroom. She finished her morning routine before returning to her room. She changed her clothes before walking out into the living room.

"Good morning, Tzuyu!" Jihyo greeted cheerfully from her spot on the couch when she saw Tzuyu walk into the room.

"Good morning, unnie," Tzuyu replied while looking around the room.

Jihyo noticed the sad look on Tzuyu's face, "Why the long face?"

Tzuyu sighed, "I was watching a movie with Dahyun last night and we fell asleep. She was gone when we woke up."

"Oh, she has a schedule today. She asked me to send her apologies to you," Jihyo revealed.

A smile formed on Tzuyu's lips, "It's alright, I understand."

Tzuyu walked over to the couch and sat down beside Jihyo. The two girls made eye contact. Jihyo gave Tzuyu a smile before returning to her phone. Tzuyu watched the older girl type away on the phone and became curious as to what Jihyo was doing.

"Unnie, what are you doing?" Tzuyu asked as she shifted closer to Jihyo.

Jihyo quickly turned off her phone, "Nothing! Nothing at all."

"Oh, come on, unnie. Show me," Tzuyu began to pout.

Jihyo looked away from Tzuyu, "No way."

Tzuyu took advantage of Jihyo looking away from her to lunge at the older girl. Jihyo turned around at the perfect moment to see the younger girl flying towards her. She held up her phone as far away as possible from Tzuyu.

"I won't tell anyone, unnie," Tzuyu whined as she struggled to reach for the phone.

"No, Tzuyu! You can't see what I'm doing!" Jihyo struggled against the longer reach of the taller girl.

Jihyo tried pushing Tzuyu away, but the younger girl was surprisingly strong. Tzuyu was basically pinning Jihyo against the couch armrest. Her hand was slowly inching its way towards Jihyo's phone.

Jihyo had her eyes closed during the struggle. She tried her best to keep her phone away from Tzuyu, but eventually lost to the superior reach of the younger girl. Jihyo opened her eyes and was greeted to Tzuyu's face mere inches away from hers.

The two girls stared into each other's eyes. Tzuyu could see a fire in Jihyo's eyes that she could not decipher. Jihyo's sudden fake cough snapped Tzuyu back to reality, causing the younger girl to jump back a bit. A blush formed on Tzuyu's cheeks when she realized how close she was with Jihyo.

"I-I-I am sorry about that now, unnie," Tzuyu apologized with her head down.

Jihyo giggled, causing Tzuyu to look up and being greeted with Jihyo's smile, "It's fine. Can I have my phone back?" she asked as she held out her hand.

Tzuyu nodded before returning the phone to Jihyo. She ducked her head down to avoid meeting Jihyo's eyes. The embarrassment from their close encounter made it hard for Tzuyu to dare look at Jihyo.

Tzuyu flinched when she felt Jihyo's hand on top of her hand, "Y-y-yes, unnie?"

"You don't have to be so awkward. It was just an accident. Nothing to make a big deal about," Jihyo warmly spoke.

Tzuyu smiled, "Yeah, you're right. Sorry about that, unnie."

Jihyo removed her hand from Tzuyu's hand, "So how was your date with Dahyun?"

Tzuyu gave Jihyo a confused look, "How did you know who I had a date with, unnie?"

"I have my ways of finding out things in this dorm," Jihyo winked.

Tzuyu giggled, "Anyways, it went really well. Dahyun made me cry ove---" she was suddenly interrupted by Jihyo.

"DAHYUN! I'M GOING TO KI---" Jihyo suddenly yelled in anger as she jumped up from the couch before being interrupted by Tzuyu.

"Calm down unnie. It was sentimental tears. She made me some food that reminded me of my mom," Tzuyu clarified.

"Oh, okay," Jihyo said before calming down and sitting back down on the couch.

Tzuyu giggled at Jihyo's reaction before telling Jihyo about the rest of her date. Jihyo smiled at how cute her younger members were on their date. She made a mental reminder to herself to treat Dahyun to something for being a good unnie unlike Jeongyeon.

Jihyo stood up and held her hand out for Tzuyu, "It's almost lunch time. Want to go grab something to eat?"

Tzuyu nodded before grabbing Jihyo's hand, "Yeah, let's go."

Nighttime fell upon the TWICE dorms with the return of all of the members. They, save for Tzuyu and Jihyo, were once again sitting in the familiar circle in the living room with all of the lights off except for the light in the middle of the room. The light was now revealing Jeongyeon, Momo, Nayeon, and Dahyun.

"How did your date with Tzuyu go?" Nayeon asked to start the meeting.

"It went really well. We had a picnic, visited the music store, watched a piano competition, and hung out in the dorms," Dahyun had a smile on her lips as she summarized her date with Tzuyu.

"Did you try to court her?" Jeongyeon asked with a raised eyebrow.

Dahyun shook her head, "No, she already knew that I wasn't the one."

"How did she know?" Momo asked.

Dahyun giggled, "She said that my actions reminded her of you: caring for a younger sibling."

Momo blushed at the comment, "Did anything else happen?"

"Yeah, she made me realize how much talent I have for the piano. I am even competing in a piano competition in two weeks thanks to her," Dahyun gleefully stated.

"Wah! Tzuyu is such an angel," the cub gushed as the squirrel and penguin nodded in agreement.

Jeongyeon clapped her hands, "And since we already drew sticks to decide who would go next," she stood up, "We can end this meeting early."

Jeongyeon walked over to Nayeon and held her hand out. Nayeon gladly accepted the gesture and Jeongyeon helped the older girl to stand up. The pair quickly walked away before anyone had the chance to stop the pair.

"What was that just now?" Momo asked.

"Who cares?" the cub said before walking into the light, revealing herself to be Chaeyoung, "It's my turn now!" she yelled with a wide smile on her face.

A/N: Hello everyone! I am back with an update! A short intermission chapter now that TWICE has figured out who would try to court Tzuyu next instead of arguing for over an hour. Will Chaeyoung be Tzuyu's special someone or will I have another 2 members to consider? I guess I will have to figure that out before the end of Chaeyoung's arc. Anyways, until next time and as always, thank you for the support!

Also, based on the vote from last chapter, my next fanfic will be JiTzu with a side of SaHyo. I will try to release a Prologue before the end of the month, but I still need to figure out the plot and what not.
