~Vincent's POV~

RedXIII yawns and snaps his huge jaw shut, the sound making a small echo through the kitchen. Tifa yawns and lays her head on my shoulder. Putting an arm around her shoulder, I look back up at the TV to some weird show she turned on about... I don't even know what. Today's been a long day and we're exhausted from last night. We stayed up late talking and laughing about nothing in particular, just being in a good mood.

"I'm bored," she finally speaks up.

"Me too," Red yawns. "I think I'm gonna go outside."

"Have fun," I mutter, watching him go. Tifa looks up at me, blinking rapidly.

"What are you doing?" I raise an eyebrow.

"I told you I'm bored!" she laughs.

"You're so bizarre," I shake my head.

"Hey, you are too, don't deny it," she smiles, poking my nose.

"Maybe I am," I agree, sitting up instead of slouching. It hurts my back, okay?

"What do you want to do then?" she asks, laying her head on my lap as she lays down on the sofa.

"I don't know," I shrug, fiddling with her hair.

"You're not much help, are you?"

"There are many things we could do," I smirk down at her. "But what do you want to do?"

"I don't know," she sits up. "I'm bored though."

"Yes, I got that," I scoff.

"Well you don't have to be mean about it," she rolls her eyes.

"I'm not," I yawn.

"I'm sure," she says sarcastically.

"That's good."

"Shut up."

"Wow, you're so nice."

''Shh."

"But..."

"Be quiet or I will silence you," she glares at me.

"How?" I challenge.

"Come here, you moron," she laughs, pulling my mouth to hers.

"Wow, I'm so silenced," I tease. She hits my chest, but I just hold her closer so that she can't escape or swat me again.

"You've been silenced," she says, pulling away.

"That was so effective," I scoff.

"Hush you. Besides, I have a good idea of what we could do."

"Yeah?"

"We could go check up on Cid and Shera to see how they're doing," she offers.

"Okay, so what's the good idea?" I joke.

"I was just suggesting," she glares at me.

"I was just kidding," I pout at her.

"Let's go," she pulls me to my feet and we walk down the sidewalk, cross the road and the corner, and take a right. Easiest way to their house. Tifa knocks on the door, but there's no reply. I shrug and open it since it's unlocked.

"Vincent!" Tifa hisses but follows me anyway.

"We're practically family, they won't..." My eyes widen at the scene before me and I turn Tifa around and push her out the door.

"Maybe we should visit another time."

"Why..."

"Just trust me."
