~Yuffie's POV~

"I can't believe we're being forced to attend this stupid inausiation or whatever," I grumble, following Cloud to his motorcycle. It hasn't moved from where we left it in Midgar and everyone seems to back to normal, so I'll just have to hope they they don't kill Vincent for killing their friends.

"Inauguration?" He raises an eyebrow at me.

"That," I nod and he laughs.

"Inausiation. Wow, you're so smart Yuffie."

"I know," I grin and climb on behind him. "But how're the others getting to the Shinra building?"

"Barret somehow got us a new car. Exact same thing but not crushed at the bottom of the ocean."

"Now I'm scared to ever let you drive again," I shudder, remembering choking on sea water in a desperate attempt to save his life as he almost drowned.

"Hey, I'm still not as bad as you," he turns his head so that he can see me before sliding his shades onto his face and starting the bike up. I hang on with my eyes squeezed shut as we fly down the road, a small amount of wind pulling at my short hair.

"Yuffie," he says.

"Hmm?"

"We're here?"

"Yeah? And?"

"Can you let go of me now?"

I blush and release Cloud from my tight grip, standing. He smirks at me and then takes my hand in his, his thumb brushing over the engagement ring on my finger. My heart thumps a little harder at that word. Engagement. Tee-hee, it's fluttering like a butterfly. I think he senses that, because his bright blue eyes flicker back to mine out of the corner of his sunglasses. Why is he still wearing them? No idea. But he looks good in them.

"You're staring at me," he states, turning his eyes back forward.

"And?"

"It's creepy."

"Really? I thought it made you look cute," I coo. Every time he tries to make my face go red, all I have to do is turn the situation around.

"How?" He says, but the pink on his neck is pretty obvious against his pale hair.

"Aw, wittle blushy Cloudy Woudy," I tease and he gives Mr an unamused look.

"Don't."

"You're so cute when you blush," I sigh and he rolls his eyes. Then he opens the front door for me and I slip inside, him following close behind. A long line of people waiting to get into the building crowds the room and we're so cramped that my back is pressed firmly against his front. Cloud holds my shoulders and steers me out of the crowded line to the more remote corner of the room.

"We'll wait for them here," he says, sitting on one of the benches.

"Hey Cloud?" I bite my lip to keep from laughing.

"Hmm?"

"Does it seem little... dark in here to you?"

"Yeah actually," he frowns.

"Look at me," I command and he faces me with a confused look. I force a laugh down as I pull the glasses from his face.

"Oops..."

"Mhmm," I giggle, putting them on my face. "My name is Cloud. I think I look cool when I wear sunglasses because I ride a motorcycle."

"I'm Yuffie," he says in annoying high pitched voice. "I think Cloud looks extremely hot with his sunglasses on because I can't stop staring at him and I think he doesn't notice me checking him out all the time but he does." My face heats up and I look at the floor with an embarrassed smile.
