~Jeffrey's P.O.V~

i dismiss the weird behavior from Britney and turn my attention to the waiter with our food nicely stacked on a large tray.

im so consumed with eating my delicious entree that i dont notice all the crumbs falling from my lips, and resting on my lap.

"You are such a pig Jeffrey!"

"Well youre not a pristine eater either."

Britney looks down at her lap in confusion, only to find crumbs also calling sweatshirt home.

Finally, we leave the restaurant and start walking home.

"So Clara what day do you have to go home?"

"Actually my mom just called. shes picking me up in 10."

"Ok we'll make sure we're back in time."

We walk mostly in silence. ive been kicking a small rock to keep me entertained.

Once we finally reach the house we see claras moms black Toyota sitting in the drive way.

"Bye guys. ill see you again soon."

Britney and Clara hug for a really long time. ugh. girls are so sappy.

Once we're inside, i go upstairs to take a shower, but before i do Britney looks at her phone and then grabs my hand.

"Hey um i have to go meet my friend somewhere because you know... boy problems."

before i can answer Britneys shut the door behind her.

Whatever. i wish Britney was here, but at least now i get some me time.

After about a 30 min shower im dressed in plaid pajama bottoms and a gray and red sweatshirt thats so big it ends at about halfway down my thigh.

i plop down onto the couch and fish through the blankets to find the remote.

The tv comes to life with "pretty little liars" playing on the large screen.

after flicking through channels for a few minutes i stop at MTV to watch a re run of the VMAs.

"And up next, performing live... ARIANA GRANDE!"

butterflies fill my stomach as the beautiful sound of Ari's voice fills the living room.

"Hey Britney did you bu-... oh yeah youre not here."

im starting to worry about her. its getting late and shes a young girl out on the streets.

i decide to call.

the phone rings 3 times before Britney declines the call.

wow, that was weird...
