ZACH'S POV:
Okay I'm up next. My song is dedicated to Billie...too bad she'll never know.
BILLIE'S POV:
B: I wonder who's singing?
Ze: yeah
Host: ladies and gentlemen please welcome Zach Herron
B: thats strange...this singer has the exact same name as Zach
Ze: you know his last name?
B: yeah
Ze: weirdo
Z: evening everyone...I'm Zach
B: Zach?!
Ze: he sings?
B: I knew he sang i just didn't know he took it so seriously
Ze:haha,this day just gets better and better
Z: so I will be...uh...singing...this song
He sits down on a stool holding a mic in his hands. He glances around the audience and his eyes rest on my table. He sees me and starts smiling. I give him a quick uncertain wave
Z: Billie?
ZACH'S POV:
Billie's here! I guess it's now or never...
Z: I will be singing a song called into deep. It's dedicated to a very special someone that...I love with all my heart.
I keep my eyes fixed on her while the audience look back at her. She's gone red in the face and she looks so cute right now. They all start clapping, cheering and whistling while I sing. My eyes on her the whole time.
BILLIE'S POV:
Everyone finally stops staring at me and they direct their gaze back at Zach. I feel my palms sweating and there's butterfly's sworming around in my belly. I look over at Zee and she's killing herself laughing, rolling all over the place, tears in her eyes and she's out of breath. Zach won't stop looking at me...what is happening?! I decide to zone out everything around me and I focus on Zach on the stage. His voice sounds like pure heaven. I close my eyes and I listen to the lyrics of the song
Z: I'm into deep, I never thought that you could be my underwater symphony I can't breath but I'm living...
B: Zee listen to the song, it's beautiful
Z: haha dude! What did I tell you haha, another lover boy for you? This day can't get better, haha! Love this for you, haha!
He finishes the song and the audience goes insane. He stands up and bows. Instead of going backstage he runs off the stage in the direction of my table. Zee hasn't stopped laughing and it looks like if she doesn't breath soon she'll blow up. The audience's gaze follows him as he runs to my table and grab my hand
Z: come with me please
B: uh...
Ze: go! I'll find you later, haha
B: oh...okay
He takes my hand and leads me outside while the crowd continues to cheer. Everything is happening so fast I can hardly process what just happened. Did Zach just tell me he loves me and dedicate such a beautiful song to me? I look back one final time before we exit and I spot Zee hitting the table with her hand from laughing. She winks at me then kills her self laughing again. We end up stopping at a bench in the garden type thing by the parking lot.
ZACH'S POV:
I sit her down and take her hands. Poor thing ,she looks so confused. I take a deep breath, here goes nothing
Z: I know this is all really confusing or weird to take in but I want you to know that I meant every word I sang on that stage. I love you Billie. Ever since the first time I saw you...I haven't been able to stop thinking about you! When I saw you laying on that road...I-
I start tearing up a bit but I can't help it. I feel the tears sting my eyes but I'm determined not to let them escape but I think she's already noticed
