We enter the office to find Erica sitting at her large desk sipping on a glass of gin and tonic, in an all-white pantsuit today. We walk in and stand in front of the desk, Lav clenching my hand and Ben looking flushed but trying not to show it
E: how lovely for you two to finally join me! Oh such beautiful children! Well done you two
She says placing her glass down and smiling at Shawn and I
B: Erica please let them go! They've done nothing to you plea-
E: oh shame, I see you've been crying. Yes,yes every beginner goes through it . Don't worry it will be okay after a few captures
B: There's nothing okay with what you're doing to innocent kids Erica!
I say screaming at her at the top of my lungs
E: don't raise your voice at me young lady, you seem to forget who your talking to. Do you need to be reminded?
I stay silent. Even though I wanted to be cheeky so bad, I can't handle being beaten up again
E: I'm sorry what was that?

B: no
E: aahh that's better. Marvelous work Shawn, Billie! Look how strong and healthy they are
She walks over to Lav and bends down so that their eyes meet at the same lining. Lav scoots toward me and I hold her hand tight. I can't even begin to imagine how scared she must be, she's just 13!
E: hello darling. Look how gorgeous you are. I'm Erica, what's your name?
She doesn't speak but I squeeze her hand and she remembers what I told her about being cheeky.
L: Lavender
E: that's a beautiful name! Oh and look at this fine, young man. What's your name ?
I catch a glimpse of Shawn slightly bumping Ben's arm
Eb: Eben
He says clenching his jaw from rage
E: well that's a handsome name isn't it!
The devil- i mean Erica, walks back to her her desk and plonks her skinny rare in the big chair behind her desk. There is silence as she takes a sip of her gin and tonic. She looks at us smiling
E: Lavender, Eben I'm here to help you. You are both very very intelligent students and I'm here to help you..sort of...train this special ability, to make it become...better? So That doesn't make me a bad person does it?
Eb: yes it does you disgusting, evil, satanic daughter of a bitch
I have to understand where Ben was coming from. He was tired of this "don't be cheeky" shit. if I was talking to the person who kidnapped me,I would also give them a piece of my mind. I see Shawn bump his arm and give him a warning look.
E: ncaww shame poor soul doesn't know what he's getting himself onto
L: let us go you disgusting freak!
B: Lav no!
I whisper in her ear. Erica stands up and shoots them a death stare.
E: listen up you imbeciles! I don't know how you speak to your parents at home but I'm not your mommy or your daddy so don't you ever speak to me, Erica the boss, like that ever again. If you do so you will regret it, am I clear?
Eb: are we clear my ass!
Erica walks around her desk towards Ben and she looks furious. As she raises her hand to slap Ben, Lavender scrams at the top of her lungs to get her attention
L: Erica don't you dare lay a hand on him!
B: Lav!
E: I see you're getting brave too?
She says turning her attention away from Ben to look at Lav. Lav throws a spit ball at Erica's face. The hot steaming pile of silva smashes across Erica's forehead. Woah, her aim is impeccable!I feel like giving Lav, this queen , the biggest hug but I obviously didn't dare to. I can not afford to revive my bruises and scars. The look on Erica's face was priceless! I'm so happy but it quickly vanishes as I realize that Lav is probably gonna get injured soon
