CHAPTER THIRTY TWO: THE NEXT DAY

I wake up smiling as the feelings from last night still linger. I get dressed, whip up a quick breakfast smoothie and call Zee to pick me up for school so I can tell her everything that happened with Zach yesterday. She's probably so mad because I made her wait and didn't tell her yesterday. A loud honk interrupts me from drinking my smoothie, it must be Zee

B: bye mom! Bye dad!
I say placing my smoothie in the sink and rushing out the house

B: hey you sexy thang
I say climbing in all jolly with a smile on my face
Ze: you're dead 
B: patience young lass
Ze: if you don't tell me what happened right now I'm throwing you out the car and you can walk to school
B: I don't mind
I say playfully unlocking the car door

B: Zendaya Coleman don't you dare finish the sentence
Ze I told you so-oops, my bad
She says laughing
Ze: yo I'm just messing
B: yeah whatever
Ze:Tell me what happened, every detail
tell her everything from the phone call to the kiss and all in between.
Ze: you kissed Zach again?!
B: hey could you say that a little louder, I don't think they heard you at the fucking Great Wall of China!
Ze:sorry I'm just so shocked at how you are so fucking dumb but so book smart

B:Do me a favor and not mention this whole thing when Zach's around and make it super awkward for me and for the other four boys that I haven't told yet!
Ze: can't promise anything

The realization just hit me

Ze: oh dang yeah you're fucked

I say burying my head in my hands
Ze: relax I'm kidding. We'll tell them when the time is right but right now you need to focus on one thing for me
B: yeah?
Ze: stop kissing every boy you fucking see! God Billie I don't know what's gotten into you
B: you sound like my mom
Ze: well then do me a favor and listen to us!
She says as we pull up at school and get inside
We head to the lockers and to my expectations, my five knuckle heads are goofing off as usual. Jacks leg Is in mid-air while Zach is crouching down so that he can use jacks shoe as a "phone". Corbyn is watching Jonah flip a water bottle and Daniel is in his own little world ranting off about how great apple juice is and he's flipping his phone.This is my everyday life and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Z: c'mon bro I'm on the phone!
He says still using jacks shoe as a phone
Ja: but I've discovered something,oh sorry man I didn't mean to interrupt
He says in this funny voice
Z: you're interrupting right now
Jo: hey look I spilt some water on the floor
C: No Jonah don't you see what you've done! You've created history! From this day forth I name this spilt water...uh...Lake puddle!
Jo: no way! Check out lake puddle everyone!
D: I'm gonna name my kids apple and juice
B: who's kids?
I say as Zee and I approach
D: yours
B: huh
D: huh
Ze: haha, I don't even have the strength
B: haha

They all say hi and seem to carry on with what they were doing...everyone of them except Zach. He stops what he's doing and starts smiling at me. I smile back without even noticing that I am.
